I have a friend that lives near a billionaire that has a more amenities around their house than a small university and I really can't imagine what kind of person decides to build their own indoor basketball court so they don't have to interact with other people that like basketball

I genuinely do not care if trans women have a 'biological advantage' in sports. They're women they get to compete. The trans women in sports 'debate' should be treated the same as people who want racially segregated sports.

I listened to about 5 minutes of the audiobook without knowing anything about it and couldn't stand it. Technology only solves the problems it solves. If we cured cancer tomorrow it wouldn't help any of the people without access to medical care

Haven’t had a chance to actually look at the full paper but is this really that much better than some of the previous research in the area? iirc gold nanoparticles that can do photothermal therapy and chemo have been around for 10+ years but it’s not really my field
