The latest scandal at Cambridge shows how tokenism actively harms the oppressed. An elite institution compromises academic rigour in favour of performative diversity, handing racist folk ammunition they’ll be using for years to come. Really well done 👌🏻

My son and I had our first museum trip today to the National Mining Museum of Scotland. Worth a visit for anyone interested in the rich industrial history of Scotland and/or history of industrialisation in general. Has a nice cafe and baby changing facility too!! @nationalmining.bsky.social

X banned a Turkish journalist’s account because the Turkish government wanted it to. His posts can no longer be seen from Turkey. The journalist was publishing open source documents about ongoing trade relations between Turkey and Israel (therefore exposing the govt.’s hypocrisy about Palestine)

The Severance (Apple TV+ UK) is a bloody fantastic show. At least in the first season (the second season premiers soon). If you are obsessed with work-related issues (eg. alienation, dispossession, and work-time) you will love it. I can’t stop thinking about it
