What's a reasonable amount of time to wait before posting more of my old art

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Honestly, I kinda liked the version without colour more.

September 30th, 1998... It's a day I'll never forget. Spooky month art! Do you think Rath can survive Raccoon City? #Furry #FurryArt #ResidentEvil #REBHfun #OC

Fun little addition to my RE9 Oscar mod are these weapon charms

Oscar in RE9 WIP mod. Hoping I can return to this at some point and make some progress on it, but I'm not confident I can finish it. I've been working on it on and off since the game released earlier this year...

I know it's easier said than done, but you've gotta let yourself relax, allow yourself to switch off and enjoy doing nothing or something else entirely for a little while (2/2)

010

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Playing games on your PC is good too! Just make sure to stand up and move around a little. :) It's normal to feel bad for doing nothing - you feel guilty for not being productive whether it be drawing or something else. (1/2)

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Don't worry, that happens to everyone! Let yourself relax during breaks to come back refreshed! Perhaps there's something you could do during your break to keep you from feeling like you're procrastinating? Personally I like to play games on a console away from my desk for a few minutes

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Of course! Above all else, draw what you like and enjoy. You learn much faster when it's something you enjoy. Take short but frequent breaks to avoid burnout, and stretch your legs too!

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

A piece of advice from one of my art teachers that always stuck with me is that you won't improve at what you don't draw. Now excuse me while I find an excuse not to draw backgrounds

Kinda excited to show my next art piece. Pose is stiff and bad but I do like how it's turning out

28/10/24 Old (rushed) spooky month art whilst I work on new spooky month art. The intent was to use just the face for a profile picture, so I wasn't too concerned with details

031

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Of course, but I'm afraid of showing off a mod that someone looks forward to but I never release it because I wasn't able to finish the mod

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Got a few WIP mods I want to work on but unsure if I'm capable of finishing them. But in this case, I started working on modding Kingston into Dead as Disco

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Aw, man. Once again, I don't know if it's worth showing off work in progress mods because I'm afraid I can't finish them. I don't want to set expectations just to never release the mods

111

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Wondering if I should post older art 🤔

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Friends are saying he looks cute and his smile is sweet... completely unaware the bigger art piece I wanted to do was about grief and depression

Sounds like you've got a lot on your mind so cut yourself some slack! Try to take some time to relax, don't stress yourself about how long it's been since you've drawn. You'll return to drawing when you're ready :)

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I was working on a bigger art piece, but I think I'm gonna abandon it. But I'll share this part of it at least

I swear my art never looks good as a profile pic :(

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Still no idea what I want to do with my alt account. I either want to dedicate it to being a personal account I can yap on and/or dedicate to mods. Or the classic SFW and NSFW art accounts.

011

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Fun trend :) I don't really have a favourite story or art style

220

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

All good, and thank you. Feel free to ask if you're confused, maybe I didn't explain well enough. You can DM me if it's easier

010

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

It's more so I'm concerned I'm setting expectations. I don't want to post a WIP for someone to expect me to release that mod in the future - believe me, I'd love to make my mods public and playable, but I can't promise I have the skillset to make them good enough to publish

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Since then I've been afraid to show off anything I'm working on in case I can't finish it

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I feel bad about never being able to finish this mod. I would've liked to have Kingston follow alongside Oscar. I never finished it because I lack the skills to prevent his hair from clipping into his body, and the clipping was too distracting to let it slide.

120

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Thinking about making use of my dormant alt account. Maybe moving mod stuff there and keep art here. Or maybe just an account I can use to talk about stuff without cluttering art posts

Aw, you don't have to do that - but I appreciate it nonetheless :)

010

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Thank you! I don't know if I'm confident enough to post art yet. 😅 Mostly sketching in a sketchbook at the moment

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I've managed to find enjoyment in drawing again lately. I'm rusty, but it's progress :)

130

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I Appreciate the advice and I'm happy to hear that's working out for you! I also appreciate the kind words. I wanted this account to be an art account but I'm a little frustrated with myself for not being able to do that

010

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

That said, I'm gonna go back to being inactive until I have something worth sharing - hopefully finally some art and not a mod. 😅 (2/2)

110

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Part of me wants to be more active on here and maybe try form some friendships (I haven't got any furry or artistic friends). Another part of me knows I'm not social enough for that. And the other part of me knows I haven't got anything worthwhile to post. (1/2)

Thank you. If it reaches a stage where I can consider it finished with minimum noticeable flaws, I will upload and share the mod

Some gameplay I have no idea how to upload good quality videos on here, so this will have to do

Also, I seem to learn something new with each new mod I create - this time I've figured out eye movement! I'll need to see if I can also work on eyebrows, etc and then, of course, update Oscar too! :)

Hyfuriix @hyfuriix.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

Kingston mod is mostly finished! Hair has been improved, though now I have some clipping issues to sort out. I'm a little stumped by this issue at the moment, I might need to take a step back and come back to this another time
