Showing off this treasure token I illustrated! Soooo happy with how it turned out! And shameless self promo, I did make it as a part of my card club where I illustrate and mail out new MTG tokens voted on by club members every month! You can find more info about it here: www.patreon.com/hxppyhxt

Illustrated Magic: the Gathering token of the card treasure. The illustration is in a dark-fantasy style and shows a person shrouded in darkness entering a treasure room, where there is lots of gold and a skeleton knight. There is a gold border on the card with a box in the bottom left corner that says "Hat's Card Club"

Got my playmats in from @hxppyhxt.bsky.social and they look fantastic! Such high quality. Love seeing the art fully realized in this way!

Pictured are two playmats with art by Happy Hat. In the left image, a small rabbit with a sword faces off against a giant flaming wolf. In the right image, a spirit in the shape of a bird escapes from the helmet of a dying knight.

Honestly so tough trying to just do the normal art/mtg content with everything going on. But my gf reminded me that it's important to still do the art/mtg bc if everything is just politics it would make it all even less bearable. Just hope y'all are all doing alright and I'll keep making art

Alterists: Do you choose the card you want to alter first then think of a design that would fit it, or do you come up with a design first and then choose a card that fits your design? Or does it come simultaneously to you? #mtgalter #tcgalter #magicthegatheringalter #fabtcgalter
