Had a GREAT time today climbing the Space Needle for Base 2 Space to raise money for Fred Hutch. Thinking of my Big Sis, Evie, and all of the cancer warriors out there. A bonus: The Lombardi Trophy! Evie was a HUGE @seahawksofficial.com fan, so this was an awesome surprise. Big Climb next!

Took some PTO today to hit the hills. Naches Peak loop from Tipsoo. My favorite trail in the world. The Mountain was out! And so was a black bear. I've done this trail at least 20 times in my life. First bear. Life is good.

Having a foot procedure tomorrow that will require crutches for 6+ weeks. So today was my last hike of the summer. Made it to Twin Falls. First time here. It was beautiful! Life is good.

Cool hike to Cheese Rock and the Carlson Creek Loop up on the Teanaway with my sister today. Weather was great. Trail was nice. The dry ponderosa forest reminds me of my childhood home and hikes on Hwy 410. Life is good.

As I get closer, I'll throw this out there a couple more times. I'm at $740 raised so far. Would love to get to $1311, which is the number of stairs I'll climb on Sunday. (And I'm about 95% sure I'll be able to climb. My wife is feeling pretty good.) Donating blood is another way to support!

My wife has endured 6 months of chemotherapy, and surgery to remove her tumor and biopsy some lymph nodes. She still has radiation to go. But the pathology report from surgery shows that she is CANCER FREE!!! We finally see some light at the end of an ever-changing tunnel.

Had an amazing hike to Rattlesnake Ledges. Trail is in good shape, even above the third ledge. Views were GORGEOUS!! Great way to spend the day. I had my perma-smile on all day.
