A friend in labor organizing shared this image today. It applies in a lot of situations, across a number of fields.

I get that, but when the tawdry isn't even sticking (which we can more or less agree on now), it's time to construct a new paradigm and make it hit home. This is what public water looks like in WV. A lot of urban types say the folks deserve this. No human deserves this. No one cares on either side.

Public water in Mingo County, West Virginia. People pay for this. More than the average American, actually.

Looking for any and all advice: it's our annual "wild bird stuck in our rec room" incident and we can't figure out how to get this thing to leave. Wheat berries and water left at the door for it. Do I just sit here and wait for it to get out while my heating bills skyrocket?
