7. +/- will allow you to minimize and maximize your hotkey action. Great for keeping everything looking neat and organized.

000

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

5. The Folder will let you organize your hotkey actions. Do it! Especially if you have a lot of them! There is a filter search that will let you sort through the chaos. 6. The Trashcan will let you delete the hotkey action. Just make sure you actually want to delete it.

4. Twitch Logo - If the action is for your chat to be able to redeem, you can connect Vtube Studio to your Twitch account. If you're only doing simple redeems without multiple steps involved, no need to bring in other apps like Mix It Up.

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

2b. Local means that you have to be selected on Vtube Studio. Does not effect apps using API like Stream Deck or Mix It Up from triggering your hotkey action. 3. Pencil - Being consistent and clear with your naming can help keep all of your hotkey actions organized.

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

2a. Global/Local is in regards to using the Keyboard when triggering a hotkey action. Global means that you can press the keyboard shortcut at any time, whether you have Vtube Studio as the main active window or if you're in a game.

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

1. On/Off allows you to turn off the ability to trigger the hotkey action. To be clear, turning it OFF in vtube studio does not turn off the related redeem or api call from a 3rd party app. Make sure to turn those off separately if you're trying to make the hotkey unavailable to your chat.

"Send hotkeys to PC" Your model also needs to be on your phone so that the hotkeys are synced. Then you can use your phone to press screen button hotkeys from the mobile app which will affect your model on the PC.

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

"Use screen button hotkeys" When turned on, this will display up to 8 clickable buttons (that can have their color adjusted) along the righthand edge of Vtube Studio. Allows for mouse activated hotkeys.

100

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

"Use keyboard hotkeys" You can set keyboard hotkeys even if this setting is off, however the hotkey action will not trigger when the keyboard hotkeys are pressed unless this setting is turned on. Allows almost any 1-3 key combo to be chosen as a trigger.

Step 5: (optional) Consider getting plugins that allow you to do multiple actions with one click There are lots of options, including plugins for IFTTT which can run automations for all sorts of things.

000

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Step 4: Drag and drop the action that you'd like to take onto the buttons' board, and fill out the details required for it to work.

100

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

Step 3: It is a 1 click install, certain plugins will require authenticating your Stream Deck with the service you are connecting to. Some may require an app password which you can generate from the Security settings of most social media sites.

Entry for VGen's monthly contest Theme is "Rose"

Drawing of myself, in darkness with a light behind me. Red Roses and petals float across the image, with a rose covering an eye. Represents love lost and yet still being blinded by that love

what makes it even worse is that I had the PC version, so I was doing that with a keyboard... not a controller

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

The sudden reverse direction controls had me STRUGGLING! just imagine me rolling over on the floor upside down everytime the controls swapped direction because my poor brain couldn't comprehend left = right and right = left

The Emperor's New Groove (2000) on the PS1 and PC was a simple game, but did manage to capture the charm of the movie which is more than I can say about many movie adaptations. The roller coaster into Ezma's lab will forever haunt me... #retrogaming #pc #adventure #ps1

I never did get far in Aladdin on Super NES, but boy I spent a few too many hours on it. It also made me want to eat sandwich bread straight, nothing on it, not toasted. Just bread. If you love a challenging #platformer, take a few hours for this game. Just have some bread ready. #retrogaming #SNES

Treasure Planet was 100% the higher quality game, I just know it!

010

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

There's also a sequel to the movie game on PC called Battle at Procyon. I haven't played this one, but I'd like to

Hunter Hermes | Vtuber @hunterhermes.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

If you loved Treasure Planet, you'd be surprised to hear that there is a PS2 game (or maybe not, just about every movie seems to have a game). While it's nothing standout, it is still fun to run around as Jim #treasureplanet #ps2 #ps1 #action #platformer #retrogaming

The white in her hair should be on our left, her right. The 2nd image is what I originally drew, which looks correct UNTIL you horizontally flip the image so that she's on the matching side of the screen to the previous scene. See for yourself youtu.be/s7uxUgrMdgg

While working on the animation, I made an amateur mistake. I didn't pay attention to the prior scene to determine which way Umi was supposed to face. Since her hair is asymmetrical , I had to recolor and render her
