Surprise gut punch at the new job. Excavating my predecessor's paperwork brought out these today. They're all *former* recipients of Meals on Wheels. But... not any more. Might be the only remaining record of some of their lives, even.

Had some pork belly left over from a catering gig. Seared, braised in apple cider with ginger and chipotle, then glazed with a reduction of the same. Elegant in its simplicity.
