On a KOG note, very excited. Can’t say much but I think ep 2’s gonna be a good litmus test of who will actually be into this show. So fucking proud of the team. No, I can’t say anything about dates. Time to drop offline again. 🏃‍♀️

Continuing with my BSD events.... 😊 The @beast-soukoku-bang.bsky.social is posting on October 20! I had the great fortune to collaborate with @hungry-racoon.bsky.social, so look forward to our work (and the work of all the other talented artists and authors)!

Promotional image for the Beast Soukoku Bang collaboration between V and Kanra. The left side of the image contains a preview of art featuring Dazai and Chuuya by V (@fanaticly-chaos on Tumblr, @hungry-raccoon.bsky.social on bsky). The right side of the image contains an excerpt from "That Made the Breeze to Blow," a fanfic by Kanra (fantastic_rambles on AO3, @fantastic-rambles on Tumblr, @fantastic-rambles.bsky.social on bsky).

Excerpt: Chuuya threw himself back into his chair, scowling as Doc shuffled the cards before he started to deal them out—including to Albatross, who had declared that he would bet a one-time use of his ability whenever the winner wanted it. Lippmann kept the alcohol flowing as the game started to reach a climax once again… only to be interrupted by the doors of the pool hall slamming open.

Instantly, they were on their feet, discarded cards fluttering to the ground as they prepared for an attack. However, a line of men in black suits marched in, splitting into two rows that stared at each other as their leader casually strolled up between them. Chuuya's eyes narrowed as he recognized the slight figure, the bandages on his face a stark contrast to his dark hair and clothing.

"We're closed. Get the fuck outta here."

"Chuuya, that's no way to talk to your superior," Dazai chided him with a smirk, and Chuuya's scowl deepened.

Second piece for the Beast!Soukoku Bang! Thanks a lot to the mods and my lovely writer making it possible. It was such a fun project to work on! Be warned, the fic below is absolutely heartbreaking. #soukoku #beast #beastdazai #beastchuuya #angst #fanfic #art #fanart #dazai #chuuya

$Image ID: The Image resembles fractured glass, each crack leading towards the Center. Every visibly shard reflects different scenes along with violent bursts of color. In the Center, Chuuya is kneeling on the ground, clutching in his arms shards of glass that used to make up a body. Most of these shards are crumpled on the ground, alongside the crystal head of Dazai. Chuuya's face is hidden behind the shard, that used to make up Dazai's torso. Through a break, Chuuya's eye is visible, starting forward in violent devastation.$

Time to share some art with the world~ This piece was done as part of a Beast!Soukoku Bang, in collaboration with @fantastic-rambles.bsky.social! Go read their fic: archiveofourown.org/works/726774... #soukoku #art #fanart #bsdbeast #beastsoukoku #bsdflags #dazai #chuuya #fanfic

Image ID: Dazai stands in front of slightly parted, deep red curtains backlit by soft light. His left arm is extended, palm-up, to about waist height while his right hand rests on Chuuya's chin, forcing him to look up at Dazai from a kneeling position. Chuuya is grimacing, his hat pressed against his chest with his right hand while his left hand rests on the wooden floor. Lippmann, Doc (with his IV stand), Piano Man, and Iceman are arranged in a circle in front of them, with Doc and Piano Man's backs to the viewer. Lippmann, Piano Man, and Iceman are all kneeling. Iceman is also propping up Albatross, who is slumped over. Albatross' shirt is covered with bullet holes and blood, with more blood pooling beneath him.
