Not sure if we're talking about the same thing. You need a carbonator (such as SodaStream) to make the water bubbly before you consider syrup and stuff. My point is that you can get the carbonator and CO2-bottles from a different brand if you don't want SodaStream specifically.

Or just type "carbonator" into Amazon or wherever you buy this sort of thing in your country, and there are loads of brands offering the same thing. It's a really basic product.

If you're sensitive to things being a bit off, I supposed it's harder to find a good match. For someone like me who doesn't care if it's coke/pepsi or zero/classic/whatever it's easy to make my own soda with cheap stuff from the supermarket. Ica Basic Röd Bär + bubbles makes a great soda. :)

You get a long way replicating many types of soda with a sodastream + Fun Light or similar. Haven't tried replicating monster specifically, but e.g. using say Fun Light Cloudy Apple you get practically apple cider, and Orange you get Fanta more or less.

I went to a party the other day. Mostly local gamedevs there. A frequent topic that came up was AI. Let's just say that IRL discourse around AI is vastly different from online discourse. Turns out normal people have reasonable takes, sensible concerns and realistic expectations. Wild, isn't it?

This BS is why nobody trusts the US anymore. They don't really care, they are just looking after their interests. No moral principles to lean on. I'm afraid this will persist for decades after Trump is gone. Any dependency on US arms and intelligence is a security risk.

I mean, I don't necessarily believe it's because of price fixing or cartels conspiring to reduce supply or what not. Maybe they do, maybe they don't, I don't know. But it's still kind of AI's "fault" because the rapid increase in demand driven by AI is causing a shortage.

Although I suspect there may be some cases of feigned ignorance. They can't criticize Putin directly, so they comment on the state of things with some level of plausible deniability.

Är det överskottet fysiskt eller finansmarknadsmässigt? För det rör sig fort när man köper och säljer optioner på råvaror, baserat på prognoser om framtiden, men fysiska båtar på havet tar veckor att komma fram. Man märker ingen skillnad fysiskt på veckor, och sen har du lager för månader.

Men, det kommer nog inte ta slut. Övriga oljeproducenter kan ju öka produktionen för att kompensera. Det blir klart dyrare förstås, men tar nog inte slut. Det är typ 15% som fallit bort som ska ersättas eller förbrukningen ska minskas.
