DUDE! Go watch David Achu on YouTube. I have been just listening to this guy for two days and I can’t stop. It’s like good content but also someone you can listen to talk about anything at all.

ALL JOANN LOCATIONS SET TO CLOSE SHOP! No one bought it…. Now it seems the only thing left to do is shut down the remainder of locations. #joann #crafting #crochet #yarnaddict #crochetaddict

Business mistake number two. Make sure the links you click on sent through business emails are not spam…. I seriously just gave my bank info to a spam account that messaged me on ETSY. I thought we were updating our banking and nope… scammers. Had to freeze my account just now 🫠

“Slip stitch into the back bump of the next 150 chains.” Ok so jump off a cliff. Got it.

Business mistake number one. Not testing the durability of my cotton yarn. These now have to be taken apart and I have to use a stronger cotton. I luckily found out from friends testing them that they are too stretchy and do not return to their natural form. At least it wasn’t a customer.

Business goals for 2025: 1. Get an LLC 2. Sell at my first markets 3. Set up a website outside of Etsy 4. Grow my YouTube channel 5. Keep all my finances organized for tax season ❤️ 🥸 is that too much?

How do you tell if a chatter is a bot? 🧐

If I had someone who could be my tech person, I would enjoy streaming way more. That or at least someone who could teach me all of the stuff I should know. I feel lost most of the time and spend a long time setting up to the point of no longer being in the mood by the time I’m done….

I’m currently laying in bed with a cat and a coffee on the nightstand. I’m spoiled and I know it.

I decided that I needed something smaller. 1. I can’t focus with clutter 2. I allow myself to accumulate junk 3. I never have a real home For said junk 4. My boyfriend did all the work for me 🥺❤️✨ he’s great.

I have creators I follow religiously and I have noticed that there are some videos that they will slap a new thumbnail on and re title it for the current year and repost the same video… Does anyone else notice this at all?

Putting money into etsy ads and wondering if I’m wasting my time…. But I will let them roll for a little longer and see what comes of it.

Jessica @humblebug.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

My next goal I’m working towards is getting into one of the next three craft fairs here. They are multiple days long and are normally 75-150 vendors or more…. it’s really an expo. So now I need to get my sample products finished for photos. And then the rest….

I was commissioned to make an orange hat. I don’t normally use this color in my shop but it is refreshing for my eyes to look at a brighter color for a bit. ❤️

Should I sign up for a flea market for my first show to dip my toes in the water? The booth fee is the cost of the table, $30. I’m sure I won’t sell much but I can learn a lot from it and get my name out in my community.

Jessica @humblebug.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

I used to do this as a kid a lot, I hate the cold. I would put my school clothes by my bed and get dressed under my covers…. Now, I’m 31 and I just did it again for the first time in forever. I just re discovered how to get myself out of bed faster 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I know I offer custom crochet keychains and pacifier clips on my Etsy shop but I think I would do a bit better if I added an option for custom crochet tops 🤷‍♀️ I have taken a liking to making them for myself and I think they would be a nice addition….

I didn’t go to yoga today but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I needed the extra sleep because I went to bed late. New thought… I go BEFORE it’s bed time and not AFTER I wake up. Maybe I will have better luck that way. 🫣

Jessica @humblebug.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

Took me 40 minutes to get out of bed today. Someone tell me how to fix this….. 🥸
