i went to japan and let me tell you, getting there was….. a time

a sequence of events drawn with teruvash as the artist proxy: checking a suitcase and being told “that’ll be $200 extra”; teruvash in a middle seat with the captain saying “it’s gonna be a bumpy one, be prepared for a rough flight, folks!”; a plane with an arrow pointed saying “was not a bumpy one because it did not leave the ground”; a flight attendant with her phone out labeled “helping look for a new flight”; teruvash with a carryon bag and PANIC!!! underneath; trading tickets at the gate counter with a different agent “NEW FLIGHT ACHIEVED!”; teruvash sobbing on the floor into a large cellphone saying “va!” over and over labeled “calling his mama”; teruvash in a more realistic pained expression with two thumbs up; teruvash on the new flight with large headphones and a tablet, doing his japanese lessons; teruvash waiting for a bus to the next airport terminal outside with all his bags in the dead of night, the new airline checkin roped off with a sign reading “opens @ 4am” (it is 12).
