So if we were rever to reverse muscle operation, we’d probably need a much larger area behind the jaw to accommodate more pushing muscles and have an effective bite strength. Hope that supplements the episode for you!

Hey Greg thanks for listening and thanks for the additional questions! Chewing I think is particularly interesting because closing the jaw to chew requires so much more muscle power than opening it again. Just look at the attachment area for the temporalis muscle compared to the digastric muscle!
