Duffy swings by a meeting wearing his finest band-aid, ill fitting shoe combo. His pants are either capri length or his tailor hates him. It is difficult to tell which. He wears no socks.

Would this be helpful? It is an outdoor fabric. I know it’s not the correct pillow case but I wasn’t sure if the pillow itself would be helpful. It is very light and fluffy. I am happy to ship it to you. I greatly understand the need and how hard it can be to find certain items.

Instead I drank a beer at 1:00 p.m., which is absolutely ungodly if you live in the South. Then, I took a walk in 99 degree temps to cool off. During my rage trek, I saw this little buddy. I was a nice break from my Thunderdome morning. Good things exist. 2/2

Swallowtail butterfly with yellow and black wings. It has a foggy blue and burnt orange highlights on the edge of its tail. Its antennae are upright and slope in a lovely manner towards its little head. Two large eyes are separated by a yellow and black stripe. It sits atop a pink flower. It is a wonderful therapist and doesn’t mind it when I call my neighbor a bastard.

I love all of the lizards that run about. However, this my favorite little buddy. Yes, baby lizards do make things better. Native to Florida, the green anole is the only native anole species in the United States. They thrive in a varied canopy environment and provide excellent pest management. 🌱

Roscoe has been barking as if the world is about to end. I thought it was the unboxing of Christmas. Then I thought it was the need of cookies, a walk or huggamuggas. No to all. Evidently, this little monkey has become obsessed with a show called Judge Rinder. 1/2

So this man just got up on a counter and ate a WHOLE bowl of mashed potatoes. A big ass bowl is now EMPTY. He has no eyes and has had 3 knee surgeries. How did he get up on a counter? I truly don’t understand how he defied gravity and his genetics. I am deeply afraid of what comes next. He DGAF.

My favorite native goblincore wood plants and creatures. The alt text provides information on the amazing Beauty Berry plant.

Green Tree Frog has wide black eyes rimmed with metallic gold eyelids. Light shines off the gold color. He is showing his shiny green head and his 2 brown nostrils, that have a dash of yellow. His mouth is trimmed in the same metallic yellow that circles his nostrils. The yellow is in contrast to his over all grass green coloring. He looks inquisitive.

Lovely little lizard has a brown coloring that is marbled in lighter browns and creams. He is showing one foot and an eye. His foot is spread and you can see all 5 toes. They have a lovely brown, khaki and cream coloring. They have a lazy zig-zag, striped pattern. His mouth is surrounded in tan, making it the lightest coloring on his body. His mouth is turned slightly upward. The lizard has a relaxed expression. His eye is the most striking feature. It is round and pronounced. The center is black. The lizards eyelids make the black area look like a teacup with 2 handles on opposite sides. The eyelid has a bright turquoise area that is emphasized by the crisp white of the eyelids edge. The rest of the eyelid has an understated marbling. The eye area looks like the cosmos. As if a photograph of space has been imprinted in this area. His ear hole is below, to the side of the eye, and is inline with the mouth. It is an unobstructed round black hole. His nostril has the same appearance but less pronounced and is brown. The nostril is inline with the eye and sits atop his mouth. It is located at the front of the head.

A Florida Fig tree is native fig plant. It and other fruiting plants were introduced to Florida in 1575. This tree is growing in the same area that Ponce de León believed the Fountain of Life to be. It is surround by native wood ferns. A Beauty Berry plant is growing below.

The fig tree has large round tropical looking leaves with a tapered end. There are 3 shiny green figs hanging from the center of a branch. Wasp bore into the fruit and help cross pollinate the Beauty Berry plant that sits below. The fallen fruit feeds a host of creatures from deer to black beetles. When the remains of the leaves and fruit fall, they trap moisture and fortify the loamy soil which proves a home for earthworms and toads.

The Beauty Berry plant leaves are large but slender. It produces small, round, shiny berries. They hang in clusters like grapes. They are a metallic purple and are brighter in color than grapes. First Nation indigenous groups used the berries to make a tea to treat fevers, stomach aches and malaria. Their crushed leaves repel ticks and mosquitoes. The berries and flowers provide food for birds, butterflies and bees. White-tailed deer feed on the leaves. The leaves have the same efficiency as DEET in repelling biting insects.

Wood ferns grow lazily in their shade. Slender and long, their tendrils reach upwards in deep green-black tones.

The photo is in varying greens. The spots of brown are proved by fallen leaves.

Elie Mystal‘s Allow Me to Retort A Black Guy’s Guide to the Constitution, has a red cover with black font, the Constitution bleeds through the background. The author is grinning a knowing grin while wearing a dapper jacket, a tie pulled slightly askew, glasses and a hair pick set in a crown of natural hair, lets you know exactly who you are. Any of this offensive? He’ll tell you he doesn’t care. He has video games to play, kids spend time with, hornets to murder and to and a wife to love. Am I the only person who remembers Matt Gaetz posting this after his first trip on Air Force One? I present to you, Hee Haw nanner puddin’ with a side of rice that has been manically shoved into a pumpkin head pastry. If ever a meal could crush your soul, it would be this.

Rice or perhaps tater tots, have been manically shoved inside a deranged pumpkin pastry, with partially cooked shredded cheddar cheese grandstanding as hair. The pumpkin monstrosity has been presented on a battlefield of poorly managed salad. This dish is paired with a banana pudding that one might find at any Hee Haw buffet or truck stop. These 2 dishes are set on a 3rd grade lunch tray. The tray is brown and a dreary off white. The more you contemplate the presentation, the sadder you feel.

First post for Roscoe. He has no spleen, leukemia and his eyeballs were lost along the way. He insists on holiday movies year around and is partial to a movie about a time traveling Christmas clock. He is 100% team Hallmark. He snores, drools and walks into walls. Yet, he is happy and I am blessed.

Everyone thinks I excel at fly fishing. This is a lie. I excel at putting myself in places that are calm and have no fluorescent lights. Standing in a river alone is suspiciously bad. So, I happily lie. This is my intro.

I am fly fishing and I am wearing a brown leather field coat with 6 pockets. One pocket contains a rock I found in the river. It is smooth, oblong and flat.

My right hand holds the rod, while my left tightens the orange line. I am wearing forest green waders. My strawberry blonde hair is pulled into a loose knotted bun. I am 6ft tall.

I am wearing a brown wool field hat. When the sun hits the hat it causes a green glow. There are 3 feathers tucked in the brim. They were found while I was mucking about in the woods.

The river is wide, flat and cold. There is a fallen tree jutting out of the river and it could look like a river monster under moonlight. You could easily imagine a curved neck with a squat body rising from the river, with the moon as the only witness.
