I'm back and #NewProfilePic I've got some spare time, so I might try getting back on social media again. Yeah, I haven't really been using social media or felt like using it these past few weeks. Not sure why my brain is like that, lol. #art

(Heavy spoilers below) Wish Marco and Star had stayed friends. Their relationship was so cute. Also, what was going on in the writers' room for Star to commit genocide?

Finished watching Star vs the Forces of Evil recently. The second half of the show was my favorite for obvious reasons. #svtfoe #eclipsa #rkgk

Finally got around to designing a coat that I think could match my trainer. I'd decided to give up on the "Mega Claw" idea for him and go with smth like "Mega Hood" or Jaw, since I'd be using Feraligatr's Mega Evolution, and Weavile has none (my poor boy). #pokemon #trainersona #rkgk

I finished Flynn's route and... OH MY GOD, SOCKET MAN IS SO COOL!!! ✪ Since I didn't feel like making a thread while I was playing this route (for reasons), I guess I'll just ramble now. Obviously, spoilers below.

Rough sketch of the monster Socket Man, from the visual novel Echo.

Anthro studies with Echo, part 2. I reorganized it a bit because Kudzu the goat was taking Jenna's place. I haven't been studying furry art specifically anymore, but I felt like finishing this now that I've started Flynn's route. I'll probably start another journal thread. #rkgk

Insomnia has been brutal these past few weeks, and pixel art work has been burning me out. Anyway, I have tons of unfinished art. I've been designing a trainer sona because I want to draw silly art with my favorite Pokémon. Couldn't leave my boy Weavile out of the sketch. #rkgk

Now that Im writing a VN, Im thinking about finally revisiting and polishing 3 old college projects Ive always wanted to share (including Mathemagic). Maybe even turning them into a small YouTube series? Could be a fun exercise and may be useful for my portfolio. Have some random sketches #rkgk #oc

Sorry for disappearing for so long, but I haven't rendered/finished anything recently, and having something to post helps me stay active on social media. I've also been trying to build up the courage to post sketches and simpler pieces, even though I'm not really happy with them.

Some studies of Calyrex and (❤️) Weavile. While I was dealing with art block, I started doing some Pokémon studies and found out they're great for anthro practice! I'll try to clean up other sketches and do more. If I end up liking anything, I'll be sharing. #artstudy #rkgk

Hey, guys! Got back from my trip this week, and my hiatus might be over. I'm just taking some time to recover, as I caught the flu in the last few days and have been experiencing some unusual symptoms. Have hatless Rafa and (still WIP) X Witch while I'm here.

I got Leo's bad ending first. I thought they could still be friends, maybe with a restraining order (I know, that's dumb). Honestly, Chase should've just told Leo to fuck off after he left him to die with Brian in the mines. ... Holy fuck. This game would need a massive TW list.

Here are anthropomorphic (furry) studies of some Echo characters. I avoided using furry references, relying only on the game art. The results feel a bit flavorless, but while working on this, I wondered: "What does it actually mean to anthropomorphize an animal?"+ #sketch #rkgk

Starting to read Yu-Gi-Oh gave me the terrible wish of buying my own cards, building a deck, and dueling people IRL. But I'm sure the game today is nothing like the classic series, and barely anyone plays it physically anymore. So that's two things in my way.

I’ve been using this height chart (from Toei?) as a reference for the overworld sprites. I totally forgot how small Yugi was at the start of the manga. He was so fucking adorable 😭

Hudwig✪Dee @hudwigdee.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Dark Yugi, Kaiba, and pre–Death-T Kaiba are done! I honestly couldn’t be happy drawing only one of Kaiba’s outfits. He’s too stylish for me to choose just one. Next up: Dark Bakura and Yugi’s gang! #wip #pixelart #yugioh

Hudwig✪Dee @hudwigdee.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

Guess I got spoiled when it comes to drawing hands on overworld sprites. I ended up drawing basically the same thing for the Mathemagic project months ago and now again for the Yu-Gi-Oh project. I don’t think it’s a big issue rn, but I should figure out other ways to draw them in this "chibi style".

This week, Twitter reminded me of this supposedly Lynchian, Silent Hill–like furry horror VN I’d always been curious about, since players always seemed traumatized. I'm trusting my gut, because that’s how I got into DDLC back then, weeks before it got popular. Wish me luck.
