DSA are essentially what MAGA/Tea Party is for the GoP but for Democrats. A more radical element trying to change the party from within rather than directly oppose it on the ballot. The problem is that a lot of them have to concede quite a bit just to get a seat at the table.

The definition of socialism in the United States if often misrepresented & generally muddied. Socialism in its definition & role also becomes a lot more confused when you introduce revisionists who reject aspects of Marx's manifesto to create their own institutions.

I think he is a socialist in nature, to an extent. (Such as government intervention to meet the needs of New Yorkers.) He just isn't a communist or any form of revolutionary. A reformer working within the framework rather than trying to tear down and replace it.

Even if it is or isn't, the more we bring attention to the idea, the more truckers are likely to actually hop on board with it. They're reaching a breaking point with the oil economy to where the cost of their operations are unsustainable for them.

Strikes being close to impossible is by design. 80% of the workforce is always one paycheck away from losing the roof over their heads. However, the real way that you strike is pooling together community funds and stockpiling supplies like water and non-perishables to last for weeks.
