Too super busy to understand mog and larper slangs. Another day of lifting 50-200 lbs.

After 3.75 years from my 1st booked role, after studying in Japan, overwork 60 hours a week, and sparsely grinding auditions, I can safely say I can finally update my voiceover résumé with a 2nd role.

<insert viral quote attributed to Sun Tzu> I don’t remember him saying that. I read dozens of different takes and English translations in high school to better myself in strategic gaming.

Moment when confronting a fellow autistic user as an autistic discord moderator. That individual claimed shootings in the US are staged and fake. I was close to one, therefore, that one was fake? The person apologized, but after too many pardons, this was personal.

Would another sword, spear, or hat for my autistic collection help cheer me up? No. Super strict on a budget. What would? Hearing myself in official anime dub for the first time after 5 years of grinding and overworking at a day job.

Friend: Everyone’s a little autistic. Me: Does that mean you’re like me and (Friend 2)? Friend: Idk. How does it work? Me: I had professional checkups before getting official diagnosis. Idk how it works in UK for (Friend 2).

MK1 style clash. Luffy: What have you done to Vivi, Rebecca, and Wimpy-hoshi? Vtuber OC: I assure you, they are safe and sound as protectorates.

Tried reading a violent passage from a novel with a narrator’s voice from a children’s book. Like reading Blood Meridian in a Dr. Seuss style. The hard part is trying not to laugh.

Checking my health insurance website everyday. Mainichi. No more surprise bills this time.

Wishing I could hug my beloved Robin right about now. Just me hugging her. In tears, crying, “I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.” And she hugs back. Listening to me.

Vaguely demonizing the autistic, traumatized, and depressed as manipulators or entitled is supposed to help them learn their lessons? It feels no different from gossip, hazing, and bullying from the 90s-2000s. Only less beatings to the face.

Using the same PC for recording booth for 4.75 years. I have might to get another PC. That fan electric humming has been a nuisance to both my autistic hearing and DAW.

Hey Voice Actors. My headphones moves along with my jaws and make motion sounds. Best to take off or replace with ear pods when auditioning and/or recording? #VoiceActing

Strangely seeing this Malfoid meme of female Draco Malfoy. I am mixed between: -Not liking HP since the author is bigoted. -creeped out on how the character was introduced as a preteen and may encourage…certain fanart… -humored since the author dislikes Rule 63 irl.

Am I struggling financially in debt to voiceover? No. I pay right away while I overwork myself in the warehouse. Life lesson: pay right away, so I don’t have to be in debt and pay extra in interest. #voiceacting

Bryce Papenbrook sure has Sean Schemmel’s lungs for yelling. I should’ve asked for a recorded sample of Kirito defying against Agent Smith from this fanart I commissioned. My budget could only afford a photo. 🎨: DLowell

"Try not to vent. Go see a therapist." I did when having ASD and MDD. Utterly can't find a therapist who knows about the VO industry. Often times, I had to explain to mines before his retirement of how it's not the same as hourly wages in the warehouse and now lost. #VoiceActing

Looking at work website for transfer schedule. The hours are flexible if I move to either LA or Dallas. Are my voice acting skills above beginner level after 4.5 years? After studying in Japan and overworking myself, slow improvement. Stay put and train before decide on transfer. #voiceacting

Autistic hypersensitivity. I can hear electricity or hear cars 50 miles/km away like Marvel’s Daredevil. Does that mean I can dodge bullets acrobatically by hearing and feeling ground and gun vibrations? I wish.

Working at a warehouse in the refrigerator and freezer section, I barely notice the heat from outside in California.

000

VAs: Don’t do just anime. My brain hears, “Newcomers are not going to survive in this industry. Get lost.” Why is my brain wired like this? It’s how I grew up, undiagnosed and diagnosed, when trying to communicate with neurotypicals. Only to get scoldings and hazing. #voiceacting

Autistic someone: This discord is bullying autistics! Me: Moderator here. I’m also autistic. What’s the problem? (Later) Me: It is best to take a time out and not react or make a scene.

000

Been yelling so hard in my room since my cousin planning on dropping out on LA. My throat hurts to do remote audition. Just overwork in warehouse as usual…

000

High standards for a studio hub roommate in either LA or Dallas: -know me for 5-30+ years to be able to handle my struggles of autism, depression, and trauma.

000

If I’m forever stuck to do remote, I’ll have to update my demo for remote rosters. Jeez. Really really don’t want to overspend another $1000. I can’t keep doing this! Is there a professional + budget friendly plan?

000

Voice Actors: It’s about enjoying the journey, not the destination. Me: Alrighty. Here’s $200 to skip the preachy lectures, offer hands-on techniques, and directions for which part of studio hub is safe and affordable? Or just wait until I’m 60 and everything is remote.

000

Sure wish I was like Tyber Zann. Super-rich crime lord who just buys his way to solve his problems. But no. I’m just an ordinary warehouse worker for a yacht-collecting oligarch.

000

“Voice acting is a marathon, not a sprint.” Now that’ll be $300 for workshop $500 for professional equipment $1000 for a demo $500-$1000 of crowded conventions and networking $1000-2000 monthly studio hub rent Or take decades of low budget before retirement age to finally book. #voicracting

000

My mind’s messed up. Since hearing my cousin in LA leaving, I can’t focus on VO and day job. All those years of budgeting and planning just fell apart because I wasn’t ready to move studio hubs until my cousin decided to leave. Now idk what to do but hear more discouragements.

Age 35, yet memories of age 5 are still strong over studying science in high school, which I suck at science in general unless it involves military history.
