Day 24 of #ArtAdventCalendar Dynasty, ink + digital colour, 2019 album art commission for @hualihuali.bsky.social - the biggest and baddest ink work I've ever done. Hua Li logo by me, text font is Eurostile. #illustration #albumart #landscape

An album cover depicting the great wall of China as if it was placed on Mt. Royal in Montreal. It is drawing with hard shaded ink line-art, with solid colours. The sky is rendered painterly with dark blue clouds. The lights of the city can be seen stretching off into the distance. A woman is visible in the headlights of a car parked on the wall in the foreground. There is text that reads Hua Li, Gloze, Dynasty.

The ink scan of the previous image. A start ink illustration of the great wall on Mt. Royal in Montreal.

A general announcement to those who will be raptured on Sept 23, if you will be leaving behind any adorable shih tzus, I would be more than happy to care for them while you’re in heaven and stuff.

I need to know, are there people in the world that wake up everyday and make their bed the same way hotels do?

The CCP could do the funniest thing ever right now by banning capitalists from 小红书。

Not to victim blame but Spotify Wrapped always makes me feel like artists are so cooked bc we all post these vanity metrics that are free ads for the company that has normalized the devaluing of our art 🥲

My ultimate dream for 2025 is that we start doing normal things like knowing your neighbours’ names and not feeling weird about asking to borrow their drill instead of buying the cheapest possible drill you’ll use once but that took an airplane and a truck ride to get to you.

I feel like I failed at 2024 because I only just found out that James Blake and Lil Yachty released a record together.
