Methuss finished! It's a bit rushed as I only have one week free, so I'm planning to work on it more once I get more time (ie. proper panel lining, seam line removal) Had a pleasure building this unique kit! Really happy I settled with this dude for the week. (2/3)

Some waterslides started to slip away since I was being too impatient in my application, and it doesn't help that I don't have a topcoat to give them further protection either. Here's a few photos from when most of the intended decals were still intact. (5/7)

Custom decals came in the next day and I was pretty excited to try out waterslides for the first time. For this step of the process, I decided to cross-reference the actual decal guide from the RG, though I wasn't able to replicate it perfectly due to a few mishaps on the way... (4/7)

I also started properly removing seam lines for the first time, though I did have some trouble cutting off the excess cement, so the final results were less than stellar. (sorry, no photo at this time) (3/7)

Then I was off to the first part: Building and assembly. I made sure to skip over sealing the GN parts until my custom decals came. Nothing much to say here. (2/7)

The plan was simple: To make the HG Exia look a bit closer to the RG. I then came up with a mental list of what to change: 1. Cut down the window stickers 2. Replace the GN decals with brighter ones 3. Custom decals (photo from dalong.net, HG right, RG left) (1/7)

Been WIP for nearly a year now but my RG Sazabi's easily becoming my favourite build. It's a relatively simple snap build with metallic markers here and there, but I'm hoping to apply decals soon!!!

Wanna know something cool about my work? Building #gunpla has actually inspired me to add some interesting decals to my #blockbench models. Trying waterslides made me realise just how much you can spice up a kit with decals alone, so I wondered if you could do the same with models too!
