Found this yesterday. Those 18 years ago i paid 17k € for this, not very well covered #transcriptome. Yesterday our samples arrived with our collaborator, and for less than half the price we get a T2T #genome of the same #plant species. #Sequencing is no longer expensive. #plantscience

Have been out and about. Searching for Thapsia garganica, or as it should rightfully be known these days Elaeoselinum garganicum. Went to Gargano, where else and found fields of them just outside San Giovanni Rotondo. Amazing fields with 100s of them plus 1000s of Ferula communis.
