iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

A lot of words to say that I really want to do a lineup of characters for both of these games but I've been busy with other stuff. Maybe someday I guess

I was extremely hesitant to play the remake. I wasn't a fan of the art direction at all and thought a lot of the gameplay looked archaic but now I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it and experiencing it all over again

I've been hugely impacted by playing both Ocarina and Majora's back to back while so much personal stuff has happened to me this year. I've been thinking a lot about a younger version of me, about wanting to grow up so badly and the things I've lost in the way...

I may do mummy! I'm saving werewolf for when I run out of any other possible ideas since that one's kinda obvious for a basic ass gay furry like me (no shame lmao)

Old spookysonas from past years. I like to make a new one every October but haven't been as consistent lately. These are a black lagoon monster, a Pan de Muerto, Frankenstein and Scarecrow. Which one should I make this year?

Keep at it! I had to back my 10k images into a hard drive to keep my phone from exploding so you're doing this for all of us

I think you already knew… Ocarina of Time fanart, I was thinking of making Link physically different from the Kokiri even as a kid and this is what I came up with. I’d like the kokiri to have a kind of wood carving edge to their features?? Make them look like dolls idk

Sadly no haha, this is just gonna be printed on top of a bag but if I ever get the chance to work on something more elaborate I'd love to add those kinds of details

Riki @htoast.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Thanks! I used procreate rotational symmetry tools for this and it was really fun to figure out how to loop the whole drawing around it

A narrative trope I really really like… Especially if they become aware of the prophecy and promise themselves to never let it happen only to have that be the catalyst for their rupture…

Thank you for making this, Meg! Out of curiosity, what do you do with your 50+ "failed" attempts after finishing your project? Do you recycle or archive them?

These are great picks! Any takes on what Grimoire and Sally would have?

Resourceful, and the cargo pants made a lot of sense for her character! I have another one that's more of an avid horror reader and has a lot of knowledge of the occult and she wears a skirt there. I love those characters and how malleable they can be! Sorry for rambling I just meant to say thanks!

I do a lot of redesigns for the gang, most of them I don't finish, but I like to mix and change their traits a little every time. I believe in this iteration I reinterpreted Velma's smarts into an interest for mechanics?? It's quite old so I don't remember. But I wanted her to be hands on and-

I love that every time I do a lineup of redesigns/fanarts it eventually gets labeled as "your typical queer friend group" that's always like the highest compliment someone can give me as a queer person and character designer
