Isn’t it pretty weird that the Nets still haven’t announced the Wagner signing, especially bc he’s supposedly going into the room exception and not using cap space ? Any reason for the delay ? @lucaskaplan.bsky.social

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

we know Mo Wagner’s jersey number and he hasn’t even officially been signed yet but we don’t know Keon’s (who wore 14 in college and Cleveland) … the Randle trade is getting delayed … someone must be trying to expand it … bye bye Mann ? 🤔

They declined it. Not surprised. Just gives them more flexibility and still have his bird rights to bring him back. Wouldn’t be shocked if Tuesday morning we get the “he’s agreed to a new contract” tweet

Sooooooo what’s going on with that option for Ziaire ?

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

So Marks essentially traded Claxton and 33 for Randle and 28 - we are so back !!

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

The Ament rumors came from KOC, Jeremy Woo, Brett Siegel and a high schooler - I’m not panicking yet. Feels like pre-dooming and a big game of telephone. Even according to an interview late last week, Nets hadn’t yet had him in for the supposed “big group workout”

I felt this way pre lottery but more so post lottery … I think the Nets are gonna trade for Sabonis

000 0

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

41 hours removed post lottery here are my unsolicited thoughts: 1) I think the Kings overpay to jump up to 5 to grab Acuff which leaves Nets w/ either Wagler or Brown 2) Brown’s back scares me a lot 3) Wagler’s lack of athleticism scares me a lot 4) worried they might take Ament @ 6 5) Mara maybe?

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

I wasn’t nervous about the lottery until I woke up this morning. It’s all I’ve been thinking about. It’s been all consuming. 3pm can’t come soon enough. If I’m gonna be depressed, just let me know

As the rare University of Cincinnati and Brooklyn Nets fan, Tre Scott playing for the Nets does put a smile on my face.

010 1

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

Nets not resting guys tomorrow for their tank off against the Kings is genuinely the dumbest thing they’ve done all year. A loss tomorrow almost guarantees you top 3 lotto odds. Just sit Ziaire and Claxton.

000 0

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

@lucaskaplan.bsky.social why does the league seem to want to over complicate the lottery system ? They clearly want to disincentivize the bottom five teams from losing, so their solution seems to be incentivize the next ten teams to lose … ? How does that make any sense ???

020 2

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

It’s not a hard fix. Go back to the old lotto system, remove pick protections besides top 4 or lottery, say you can’t draft top 4 in 2 out of 3 years and move on.

000 0

Andrew Lish @hsilwerdna.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

I hate all of these lotto “fixes”. The league doesn’t know what they’re doing and are trying to fix a problem that doesn’t really exist beyond this year and are going to create a shitstorm in the process.

@lucaskaplan.bsky.social how much should we be reading into the Draymond “we’ll see what they (Nets) do with it (MPJ) over the next nine days” … if he recorded the pod a few days ago, nine days could be January 15th (day Kuminga is trade eligible)
