Games that made me cry. Show me yours! Bastion, Mass Effect 3, Tales from the Borderlands, and Dragon Age 2 turned me into an absolute mess. Bastion and TftB do it every time.

What's your "no one but me remembers" game? My dad worked in edutainment in the 90s and would bring back games from conferences with no manuals or context. Sub Culture was my favourite - you're a scavenger/trader who gets involved in a cold war between two tiny underwater civilisations

was grumpy about The Terror being gone from iPlayer so I ordered it on DVD and watched the first episode of The North Water instead because I enjoy watching Colin Farrell having a bad time in the 19th century

game text: It's been years since you were here, but the curve of the overhanging umber rock, the look of the pale distant manor overlooking the town, and the railway station itself: they all feel as though you never left.
choice option text: I don't like it. It's bringing up bad memories.
response text: Old tension spreads across your shoulders, and your throat constricts just a little. You take a deeper breath to steady yourself as the train draws into the tiny station. There are two platforms now, after all these years, though both are shorter than the train. The air even smells the same.

The Elene's Prospect church is the pride of the town. It's the oldest surviving building in the place, since the original town hall burned down five centuries ago—an event which some townsfolk refer to like it was last month—and is constructed from leaded glass, light streaming into it from the midday sunshine. Flanking the doorway, which is a simple arch, are statues of Elene, deity of the sun, and Crinn, deity of water, twice your height. They're new since you were last here, and you recognize them as Kass's style.
