It also looks like the bays now allow for sliding your bike off of the bus, rather than deadlifting it.

‘Twas a nice day to bike through some towns starting with the letter M around a lake also starting with the letter M. I wished I hadn’t tried to catch Prime from Carver Park Reserve. Apparently they were at capacity.

617 days into his 2nd term, Trump's Department of Transportation has *still* not approved a single new transit project for full funding. The problems I highlighted in March—how this lack of funding only makes projects cost more & delays completion—have only worsened www.urban.org/urban-wire/r...

There have been no approvals for new transit projects in the entire 2nd Trump Administration. This graph, produced in March 2026, remains accurate now, in September 2026.

I'm very curious if anyone has used an HourCar or Evie to pick someone up on their first date. As much as I love having access to it, I think using it to pick someone up on your first date sounds tacky. If you did, how was it?

Help me understand: is it true the older a Minneapolitan gets, the more they yearn to either live or work in St. Paul? I will say one counter example to this is, when I lived in Seward, I found myself in St. Paul almost every weekend. Mostly because of the 67 providing access to Asian grocers.

On Sept. 9, newsroom management gave us less then two weeks to cull the herd — 2 or 3 of us must go. What do you cut when you’re down to bone? Would St. Paul benefit from not having a City Hall beat? No more State Capitol reporter? No more schools? We must choose by Monday, or layoffs likely follow.
