Tyler Perry’s “Doing Life” is pretty well done. I think there is a difference between trauma p*rn and slice of life films. Trauma p*rn glorifies people’s pain and struggles with not even a glimmer of hope. Slice of life films captures the average person’s experiences and makes them relatable.
