Was so happy to participate in the Pokejinka size hosted by @dotzines.bsky.social ! Go check out the full zine for higher res images and lots of amazing designs!

A person and a Scyther outside a forest shrine.
The person is dressed like a shrine maiden, with the details and colours mimicking how the scyther looks. They are weilding two fans in a dance of sorts with scyther next to them copying the pose the best it can.
In the background is a japanese shrine partially covered by a large tree.

The character has a green hair styles to mimic scyther's headshape, using three braids to look like the ridges of scyther's head. They have pale skin a similar tone to the light yellow of scyther.
The outfit is styled like a Shrine Maiden: the top has open shoulders with the edges of the collar having an embroidery resembling leaves. There is a pale yellow sash that is tied into a bow at the right side of them. The bottoms are open at the hips . On their shoulders is a transluscent shawl shaped to resemble Scyther's wings.

A person with a victreebel in a greenhouse.
The person is in a wheelchair, pulled up to a table, working on a flower arrangement. They are designed in a way to mimic the looks of the victreebel. The victreebel is behind them, holding a pot, ready to help.
The greenhouse has long beds of flower bushes as well as tables and a shelf full of gardening items.

The character is in a wheelchair with their two legs amputated just above the knees. They have their hair shaved on the sides with longer hair on the top. The shaven hair is black, but the long hair is green. There is a long, wrapped ponytail at the back of their head, the exposed hair at the bottom of it an army green tone. Their skin is a warm tan with freckling on their cheeks, nose, shoulders and arm.
They are wearing a deep cut loose fitting top with a yellow shirt underneath. the collar of the shirt is a pale pink colour. For bottoms they are wearing a pair of tight-fitting shorts that are a camo pattern in a variety of yellow and army green tones. The wheelchair has two large leaf-shaped caps on its wheels.

Update on this I suppose. Progress has been going decently well. Managed to get the smaller folders nice and organized. The big ones are going to be annoying as hell so going to hold off on doing that.

Going to be a long battle organizing my folders on my laptop. My OC folder is all over the place and just doing one guy was horrid lmao

The fact i seen people having to go offline just to avoid them because you people can't seem to behave is awful as hell. If you want to spoil yourself for future shit, you do you... but if you drag others into it, you're awful.

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

I never felt so bad for any Pokemon fans on twitter who wants to avoid spoilers. You can have so many things muted, and you would be so cooked. Some of you people are TERRIBLE with not finding ways to spoiler tag or do something to make it easy for people to avoid spoilers.

That Canadian dollars for the console though….holy shit. I never seen a price that made my eye watered

000

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

Only thing I’m scratching my head at when it comes to that direct is the gaming prices. We got Mario kart giving me psychic damage with that jump in price yet we see donkey Kong being about what I expect games to cost. Will be interesting to see how prices go once this thing comes out

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

The new discord ui is a nightmare because I honestly think it wouldn’t be a bad if there was so many little things that anyone with a eye for a design would easily fixed.

Send thoughts and prayers to the Pokémon fans trying to avoid Horizon spoilers due to either focusing on their own language dub or wanting to be spoil free. I know they’re fighting for their life right now because they’re trapped dealing with others not tagging shit.

legend is as a mainline game though. But yeah. That's all I got. It was good enough to chew on, but hopefully they end up surprising me.

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Personal opinion about Z-A trailer? I'm interested. I still want to see more about this game to decide how I feel about it. Legends Arceus was basically the same thing where they were pretty light with the first wave of info with pulling the interesting shit later on. I love how experimental that

[[ #art #commission #pokemon]] A commission for @kingclowsif.bsky.social that was a long time coming-

a drawing of three people and three pokemon on a red checkered picnic blanket on a grassy field, surrounded by various food. the three people are dressed in school uniforms from scarlet and violet, with the three pokemon being the starters from the same game. the person on the right has a grey blazer and orange trousers, he is black with short black hair and red eyes, hidden by his sunglasses. he is sat facing the others with an apple with a bite taken out of it in one hand, and the other raised as though he is gesturing while talking. the person in the middle is pale with freckles and wears a white, short sleeve shirt with purple shorts, purple and black covers on his arms and legs, and an orange bandana around his neck. he has short orange hair with hairclips to keep it back, orange eyes, and a dragon earring that comes around his whole ear. he is sat with his knees pulled up, arms wrapped around them and is looking at the talking man with a smile. the person on the left is dark skinned with freckles, long black hair and a purple fringe, blue eyes, and a small amount of facial hair. he is wearing a white long sleeved shirt with purple trousers and black suspenders. he sits loosely crosslegged, leaning back on his hands and smiling at the other two. in front of them is a sprigatito pouncing on a black fuecoco, with blue where it should be yellow. to the side is a quaxly whose pompadour is coloured like neapolitan ice cream, and is looking away from the two tussling pokemon, embarrassed. everything is shaded in a painted style, and there's a yellow glow around them, indicating it's late. there is a watermark repeating over it saying 'KeaneArts commission'

It's really bad when the intermission between capcom direct and monster hunter wilds had more gameplay than whatever the hell was going on in that direct.

000

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

You mean you don't enjoy a direct that could have been separate videos-

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

I always go back to whenever I want to shiny hunt. Obviously, I will always go in for low expectations for Pokemon and games as a whole, but I do look forward to Legend Z-A.

000

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

I will never get over how Legends: Arceus went from the game I was worried about since I was a little bit burned by how they handled SwSH (even when the DLC saving it alongside the characters) and very burned by playing BDSP since….yeah. It as well as ScaVio have been the games

HowlingCat @howlingcat.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

“Will they truly be nice?” Yes. Totally. Flavor with such kind words such as “you’re a waste of space and you disgust me” and “I think you’re a scum to the earth if you make a pissy suggestion just because people block you for supporting a shitty man” ❤️❤️❤️❤️
