I don't know what jobs need to hear this but having a weekly show and tell meeting devolve into "This is how I'm using AI" is a waste of time. It's always another flavor of "you're prompting wrong, do it like this.". It requires that I believe your ultimate goal isn't to just fire me.

With SpaceX bonds already trading at 226-231 bps spreads over ten year (7.95%-7.97%) and prices of anywhere from 86.45 - 84.98 dollars in exchange for 100 dollars of bond debt traders are already trading like it's junk rated. If this goes through we'd see 8%+ easily. That's brutal in this economy.

Meanwhile the debt issuance of these data centers is so big it's competing with the 10 year treasury bond forcing it to go up which raises interest rates which makes the debt require a higher percentage which competes with the treasury bond etc. etc.

Only just seeing stuff about the opening keynote for Rails World 2026. I have a lot of takes, but my core one here is DHH is a person who should have no credibility with you. It reflects badly on groups that associate with him and you should point and laugh. It's weird little guys all the way down.

I want people who get anxious about AI hacking to take a breath. Web security is hard! The more moving parts the more points of failure. If you throw millions in resources against a site, you'll find a way in eventually. This has been true for decades.

People in tech are going to be disappointed when they boost small LLMs as the alt to large ones from Anthropic or OpenAI and realize we've gone full circle back to regular old machine learning. The pitch was always fire everyone create a slave god. Not a better produce QA algo on farm gear.

Reminder than when these world burner llm bot companies push articles about solving mathematical proofs or any thing in academia it's posted to their websites and NOT research publishers because then it would be subject to academic review and verification. So it's marketing. Not actual research.

Wish it was a easier to onboard into new languages sometimes. I'm trying to get better at GraphQL but I'm under a ton of time pressure in the office and every time I ask for help people just tell me to offload it onto an LLM but that doesn't solve the problem of not understanding the actual thing.

Blusky really needs to get a handle on it's account verification interfaces. Can't post without verifying email but the UI elements that send out a verification email give you a generic 'can't update' message and you have to look at API responses in console to figure out where to go. Oh well.
