I’d be careful about local elections. Who votes in them? Not your average voter. Which is why the Lib Dem’s historically did so well. They’re often a protest vote. You gov suggest this for a GENERAL election. So it’s not the Tories who’ve lost votes to Reform since 2024.

This is my neck of the woods. Where I grew up. It’s fully institutionalised. Ask any cop who’s been in for more than five minutes. It’s part of every annual review, every promotion board, every crime review.
