I went to a Faces reunion gig in the Surrey Hills - full day festival event, Steve Harley, Paul Carrack and others in support, plus a polo match. The bars had run out of all booze by about 5 pm. Faces and horse fans will drink you dry.

Just reading Melly's autobiography ("Owning Up", actually 3 shorter works bolted together). His accounts are absolutely tell-all about his own sexual development and told completely straight-faced. Very little held back.
