My 5 year old found this cool translucent snail shell and he wants to know if anyone can identify it. Found in WNC. “Looks like a gummy bear” Our only guess so far is an Amber Snail, but we’re not sure. He says “if it’s a new species I’m calling it Ashawkaka”

TIL “Pokémon for Evangelicals” is an actual product. That exists. Apparently you can build decks out of cards tagged “Virtuous” or “Sinnies”? I’m imagining how funny it would be if they balanced the game wrong and an unbeatable Sinny deck broke the Sacred Meta

This 1980 internal memo, reproduced in @mwichary’s thoroughly spectacular new book, “Shift Happens,” really struck me. TL;DR: “You, Apple employee, have 1 year to ditch your typewriter and replace it with a computer.” So… do we think a mandated Studio Display / Vision Pro swap would ever happen?
