At 5 metres long it's definitely not aimed at the European market. Nothing like designing the model for a market that slaps tariffs on imports!

It used to be a stalwart of the UK High Street but it seems to have become a buying and selling company instead of stable. At least the new owners are Canadian not a USA investment company www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Equally you can game possible scenarios instead of blindly say it will all be okay on the third and get a big surprise if it isn't. Too much of the USA is going with it all being OK and not considering that it may take more than a strongly worded letter to make it OK.

But who is going to enforce them being not in power if they keep holding on? That one person alone can't stop them should the various enforcement services decide they are okay with an effective coup keeping the present 'mob' in power. That one person can be suborned or moved aside.

Trump is nearer his grave today than he was yesterday. Same as everyone living. So what he is saying is the usual zero content value noise that he pads his lies with.

A UK paper published caffeine content comparison between two of the big players in the UK market a couple of years ago. Starbucks came consistently low in caffeine content, so either less coffee or poorer beans. Overpriced over sugared glop. www.theguardian.com/food/2023/fe...

I suspect the Japanese have thought of that and it's more likely the subway would collapse or flood than the monorail would get stuck or come crashing down. It will have something fun like a deployable helter skelter ride. Or batteries to run autonomously to a station.

A fair shake? Is this some Trumpian neologism or a peculiar dialect feature of wherever he grew up? Seems to me the fairest shake they could have would be with fear when confronted by a male raper in the prison shower.

No buying used (provided it was originally purchased in Canada) doesn't hurt the USA, it just hurts the dealer or original purchaser. It was probably bought when the USA was different. Buying an imported-used is different, dealers who import to sell used do benefit the USA.

If the voltage across the bulb isn't at least 12v at idle with the light on it may indicate the wiring has some corroded connectors or is too thin for the current the bulb wants to pull.
010
Houninym @houninym.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
Even at idle with the headlight off. With the headlight on at idle the battery voltage should stay above 12v. Repeat the measurements at higher revs, the battery voltage should get to about 14 volt. If it can't hold voltage at idle the alternator might need attention. Measure at the bulb ... /3
010
Houninym @houninym.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
That looks like a fairly big drop in brightness at idle. Check at the battery terminals for the voltage at idle and as you rev up. At idle the alternator should generate enough power to keep the battery voltage around 13 volts (assuming it's a 12 volt battery) ... it should charge the battery /2

In an urban environment even complex noises can be very hard to localise. They echo very differently at different frequencies so it makes it appear to be moving wildly around.

Shit of a parcel against a door frame is not the same as series of shots that locate the route to and all obstacles in the way plus any people around. News for Amazon, under some country's laws taking pictures on or of a property can lead to legal trouble. Pentagon for example.
