One thing to note about the tax cuts to the rich is that is the exact opposite of what we need. These cuts will further reduce the income of the government to pay for services. There will not be spending cuts to offset this shortfall. Won’t happen. So the deficit will keep increasing.

Once again Chief Justice John Roberts shows his partisanship to Donald Trump and the Republicans. He has paused the order of the court which had demanded that USAID be reinstated and payments begin by tonight. Roberts jumped at the chance to help Trump. Meanwhile many people will suffer.

So today the world recognized the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Many world leaders attended. Trump sent a delegation. Couldn’t be bothered. Had to supervise rounding up immigrants to be deported. Didn’t even send VP. He is such a deplorable man.
