Today with a heavy heart, Buster passed away at the tender age of 5. He had an inoperable mass. I brought him home to say goodbye to Rascal & Mom. It is breaking our hearts. Fly high my little chestnut dog. You truly have earned your wings 🪽🪽. Joe & Pete are waiting for you. Until we meet again. 💜

It's a Queensland heeler or a blue heeler or Australian cattle dog. All the same breed, just different names. This is Houdini the red heeler version. The color is from the dingo gene.

Stay hydrated. The weeds can wait until it gets cooler. 🙂 It's hot here too in Georgia. I'm getting my drip system finished up as we are not receiving the rain needed. Gulf fritillary butterfly on Joe Pye weed.

Today is a tough day for me. I buried my Pete today and this is his birthday. We were together for 16 years.💙 🫂 Thank you.

We hope your baby is recovering well. Going to the vet is very stressful, given anesthesia adds a whole other level. We wait for our appointments in the car. Houdini is too talkative (barky). I understand it bothers others, especially the cats.

I did. I accomplished a lot. The branch was cut up. Houdini posed in front of the brush pile. He smiles as though he cut it up for me. 😄 Today, I'm painting my studio, again. We are having more thunderstorms. I hope you are having a great day. ☺️

A branch from the neighbor's oak tree fell on the fence last night. We weren't stormy or windy. It's easily a 20' (6 m) long branch. Surprisingly the fence wasn't crushed, good for me! I will be busy gal for a couple of days. A chainsaw purchase is in order tomorrow.

I hope this helps you. I live in the spiritual world. I'm 67, I don't know how long I will live. I am going to make each day count. You will get through this. Keep reaching out and moving forward.

Sometimes, you need to give yourself permission to let it release. 💖 I have my safe place to go to recharge. I don't understand why he is not being stopped in my country. The #nokings day marches have been huge. I am eagerly waiting for my Joe Pye weed to bloom. 🙂

One of the green anoles was shedding his skin this afternoon. It's been about a week since it hasn't rained.

I wished it wasn't this way, but here we are. Navigating through this with barely having a roadmap. Here is a Georgia native Stokes Easter to brighten your day.

Goats are so nice. Ten goats and two sheep visited for a week to eat the English ivy. They are very relaxing to watch.

I attended a native plant sale. The next weekend I went to a native plant rescue with friends. I dug up more plants. Most will be planted by next weekend. There is another plant rescue in two weeks.

This was fun! Similar to the merry go round, except it tilted at the top of the pole. 🤯 We had something like the chairs only scaled down.

This little guy sure brightened up my dismal morning yesterday. The green anole was just sunning himself on a branch without a care in the world. They are one of nature's pest controls. I have families of anoles around the house. #GreenAnole #NaturePhotography #MotoStylusG #WestGeorgia🇺🇲

They are the Piedmont native. They come in a variety of colors too. The ones sold in the stores are cultivars.

The goats stayed for 5 days. I have a half acre of land. It's full of native plants and I keep adding more. This is all for the wildlife.

Native Piedmont azalea, it's still too early for the ground flowers to be growing and blooming. Description in the picture.

The Piedmont azalea is a native plant to the Southeast USA. These azaleas can grow to 5' tall (1,5 m).

Good Saturday morning 😊 I'm having my morning tea, I know the orange 🍊 man is doing the same old stuff, just a different day and none of it is good for the American people. Well, except if you are a billionaire. I am sending you a photo of one of my plants to brighten your day. Description in ALT.
