happy sickos day to all who celebrate

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

- had a customer just ask what “one dollar finds” meant 🤦‍♀️ - customers that bring up a full cart of items but only have $10 to spend (I will have to put their stuff back) I try to be nice and reasonable but damn sometimes it’s hard

- I HAVE to clock in/out on the register screens. I stand on the customer side and swivel the screen around to not confuse anyone, but I STILL get asked “are you opening?” - if they start shit talking me on speaker phone on the other side of the register over how I bag their shit

I think retail workers should be allowed to be rude (within reason)

Also panicked remembering that I was supposed to start integrating my name change a couple months ago and I still fumble when people ask irl 😭 Sorry I went by the same name for 30 years I forgot

I had the second irl person ask for my pronouns today First time was earlier this week a 14yo asked during checkout at work. I panicked because retail was just not a location I ever expected to be asked that lmao

Ooh I didn’t know about this trailer! I love when people sneak other vocas into official Crypton projects/events like this haha Gumi is a stretch but she DID have a model in Mirai I guess, but saying IA counts bc Sekai is like okay so there’s no rules and everyone can do whatever

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

There are NINE characters to draw from PJD and somehow you chose none of them. You know who is? NERU AND TETO. Just rename it to a Vocaloid project at this point that’s basically what it is

040 0

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“Gumi was in Mirai and IA is more featured in Sekai so I guess” THEY LITERALLY HAD THEIR OWN RHYTHM GAMES

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

“Let’s do a Project Diva group project!” “I want to draw Luka!” “I want to draw the twins!” “Can I do Gumi or IA?” Can you do Deadlock/Rivals for an Overwatch project? Roblox for something Minecraft related?

I’ve never had a problem with them before but apparently if you make any mistakes when placing your order you’re fucked The second order hasn’t shipped yet but I’m sure they’ll ignore my requests for a cancellation and ship it anyway Guess I should dust off my eBay account

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Since I emailed them the first time on the 26th, I have sent 4 total emails about a cancellation and they only responded to the first one, telling me they could apply a discount to the order I wanted to cancel (and asked if I wanted it back to my card or store credit) I am so frustrated

So SeeU made her announcement and Gumi decided to be an attention stealing bitch about it

SeeU: SeeU Re:Voice 2026.10.09 14:00 (KST) Can you hear my voice?
Gumi: Tomorrow, there will be a major announcement!! Look forward to it!
SeeU looks confused and concerned at Gumi who smiles innocently

I got an email about a refund and I am dumb and assumed it was related to the message I sent. It was actually about what I was able to manually cancel on the website. My bad (Artist doesn’t allow customer side cancellations on certain products) So I guess goodbye $400…

cooool I accidentally double ordered something, I asked for the duplicate order to be refunded, the seller responded asking a question on how I would like the refund. I messaged back. One week later the duplicate order ships 🙃

added a goal to my ko-fi representing the remaining major balance from my medical bills, plus $500 to reflect continuing care costs, which have more or less been left in my responsibility. i don't make enough money to handle this alone. any help would be greatly appreciated: 🔽

Sometimes my throat will get itchy or I’ll have a “choke on my own spit” moment and then I get so self conscious people think I’m sick haha Though it’s funny people will get so concerned if *I’m* sick but say nothing about the people coughing up a lung without a mask..

Most of the time I don’t mind if referring to the genre of music but when people start calling SynthV and UTAU characters “Vocaloids” that’s where I draw the line lmao

I wear mine exclusively because I have a resting bitch face and have to deal with stupid customers and questions all day We would get way more complaints about my attitude if I didn’t wear mine 🙃

Ray ✦ @hotsoupymiku.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Customer: “Why is everyone wearing their mask again?” Me: “I just like wearing mine.” “But everyone is wearing masks again.” “Maybe because school started back up?” “But like-“ MAN I DON’T FUCKING KNOW WHY EVERYONE ELSE IS WEARING MASKS AGAIN
