My vent art

vent comic about being an artist on social media. the puppy says; "Welp I guess it's that time of day again" while bringing their art into social media, only to be met with flames

Ahah- That was meant for tomorrow! I’ll be busy so I have a pre-made Fay thread for then. No peeksies, unless you did just now in which case… you stinky. >:P

Oh- I don’t like how Abigail’s six heart event went down- Her dad clearly just wanted her to help her mom with dinner. That didn’t call for a, “you don’t understand me”/“you just want me to cook because I’m a girl” moment. It’s not “unfair”, it’s literally called being responsible-

• Day 6: Majora’s Mask- Young Faylana: A strange girl who seemingly wandered into Clock Town without any known past. All people know is, the day she bought a mask from a strange salesman, strange things started happening. A white mask, a blond boy and the moon falling; it seemed an omen of disaster.

Screencap of Pokémon Horizons edited to include my Legends Z-A Trainer designed after a shiny Ceruledge Ace over what should be Amethio.
The text in the post translates to; “Ceruledge, let’s go! Shadow Claw!”

I’ve been having so much fun making all these Fay designs, especially the OoT and Majora’s Mask designs. The rendering is some of my favorite to date.

• Day 5: Ocarina of Time- Faylana (Adult) The daughter of the general to the Royal Guard’s, now grown and with a hatred towards Ganondorf, drastically changed her appearance to join the ranks of the Knights. She also inspired Zelda to sneak with her under the guise of Shiek.

• Day 4: Link’s Awakening: Faylana (Tracy Counter)- “There’s something familiar about her that Link can’t quite pinpoint, but it can’t be who he thinks it is, she’s much too … smitten with Link. This version of Fay fills the role of Tracy and begins the cycle of the Sword’s Spirit in later titles.”

I have enough graphite to have lasted me almost one whole high school year- I should really go back to traditional art, lead pencil in hand like I used to be in high school. Damn those were the days, people just knew me as “that one girl who draws”.😭 In all seriousness, this is a graphite gold mine.

Faylana? Probably, probably not because of the amount of details to her that I can’t get past on a budget cosplay. Carmen, I already do. She’s based off of my High School self, so by default I’m ‘cosplaying’ late 20’s Carmen. But her guardian outfit? Possibly. It’s intriguing.

• Day 3: A Link to the Past: Faylana- “A rather eccentric traveler who can be found near the Desert of Mystery. She tips Link about the inscription on the stone, quote, “Looks like you need some kind of book for this”. Apparently she travels Hyrule, helping those in need from the rise in monsters.”

I should bring back my concept of Hoshi tending a small tavern/cafe- My page was meant to be a safe haven, which I’m sorry if I break the illusion with my own nonsensical thoughts here and there, but I should re-enforce that concept. Maybe I’ll sketch it out.

Niece found a BoTW long play channel on our tv, I told you, “If you wanted to see Zelda let’s play’s, you could have just asked me to play”. To which she replies, quote, “I was gonna say that. You make it seem easy to understand.” This is how I realize my true calling was always Zelda. :3

Hoshi💫 (Commissions Opened) @hoshiko-jessie.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Along with the “Fay pulling a Mulan”, OoT Fay is also the motive for Zelda to change into Shiek. Fay was close with the Royal Family through her father before Ganon and snuck letters to Zelda throughout their childhood. So when Fay planned to enter the ranks, Zelda followed through the Shiekah.

140

Hoshi💫 (Commissions Opened) @hoshiko-jessie.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

On a very VERY lighter note but still the same tangent, OoT Fay’s hair took almost half an hour to render (following Link’s final art render)- I love my small lethal bean~

TW: Harassment- Fay has been sexually harassed by her Admiral in front of dozens of onlooking men before a suicidal trip just so he could, “Prove a Point”- Twi Pri Faylana entered the Knights of Hyrule under a male name and build since women are forbidden to join the ranks- Imagine her horror-

171

Hoshi💫 (Commissions Opened) @hoshiko-jessie.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I started on OoT Faylana’s design and now I remember why I had originally made her BoTW predecessor a Royal Knight- She so pretty when she’s posing as a guard aaaaaaa I should make more Fay content, I don’t know why I haven’t done this yet, she’s a part of my main OCs now.

• Day 2; Adventure of Link: Faylana- “Having witnessed the attack against Princess Zelda from the Prince of Hyrule, Faylana knew something had to be done. But with monsters everywhere, she anxiously stayed inside. At least, until she met Link. She repays his courage by giving him potions and tips.”

All we had was “going back to school” to look forward to. I wear cardigans year round (I don’t normally like jumpers), we don’t get leaf piles, and my family never carved pumpkins because we don’t really celebrate Halloween (it never caught their interest and it’s lack luster for me-).
