silver @horsebutch.butchsky.social · 02/02/2025i realize i don't post xiv shit here very much (or really post at all) but look at my horse. you want to see my horse. my horse. yes. 020 2
![xiv is in such a weird state right now...xiv is such a near and dear game to my heart and it sucks to see it dip in quality because they're [the devs] stretched so thin (reminder: for the last like, three years, CBU3 has been working on multiple different games [at the same time]) i sincerely want it to get better, but at the same time, i'm kind of disillusioned and burnt out. maybe it's just pandemic nostalgia, maybe i'm wearing rose tinted glasses, but i really do want this game to be better. it's very obvious it's square enix's cash cow and that they're not giving it the funds or attention that it needs. i have no clue how XI is still up with square enix's biggest MMO in such a state](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:pp3txzttzngi7jn3dic5pnjy/bafkreibbrh2ilbsymnwdhnrzmp2itt3o26goci2kumti2r2u4bhsbbshle)
