Ego. What we think we are or hope to be. Some stroke it, others break it with mere words or gestures. I like words. Big vocabulary. Foreplay. You earn this ’inflated’ ego, good sir.

Find a place to put your spell bag. This may simply be on your altar, or in your pocket. Alternatively, there may be a specific place you want to put it (such as by your bed for a sleep spell bag, or in the corner of your room for protection).

☽⛥☾B𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍W𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍-hex,hex☽⛥☾ @horrorhexe.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Collect your bag and ingredients, and focus your intent on each of them. You may also want to write a magickal chant. This can be simply read out, or written down to leave inside the bag. Assemble, spend time either meditating on your intention, or reciting your magickal chant.

Think about ingredients you want to put into the spell bag and their correspondences… What ingredients will fit?… What specific ingredients are associated with your intentions (for example, what herbs are used for protection)

For the purpose of this post I will refer to a spell bag, but they may also be called spell sachets, charm bags, and in some cultures, mojo bags (please do your own research). You can also make spell jars, which are pretty much the same, only you use a jar and not a bag.

Working with spell bags, #witchsky #occultsky #spell #ritual #magick #herbs Spell Bags are usually small bags that contain a range of ingredients linked to the intention of your spell. They can sometimes be known as different names, or have slight cultural differences.

✨Release and Trust: Once you’ve set your intent, release it into the universe and trust the process. Holding on too tightly can create resistance. Have faith that the universe will respond in the best possible way and at the right time.

☽⛥☾B𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍W𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍-hex,hex☽⛥☾ @horrorhexe.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

✨Use Affirmations: Positive affirmations reinforce your intent. Create a short, positive statement that encapsulates your goal and repeat it regularly. For example, if you seek financial abundance, you might affirm, “I am open to receiving wealth and prosperity.”

✨Visualize Your Desire: Visualization is a powerful tool for focusing your intent. Close your eyes and vividly imagine the outcome you desire. Be specific. Instead of saying, “I want to be happy,” you might say, “I want to find joy and contentment in my daily life.”

✨Define Your Goal: Before casting any spell or performing a ritual, take time to clearly define your goal. What do you want to achieve? Be specific. Instead of saying, “I want to be happy,” you might say, “I want to find joy and contentment in my daily life.”

Well said. I believe so, yes. The difference between good and bad is the key to differentiate between a curse and a blessing- if you so will. A spell is a spell no matter what the intend. Some find that debatable.
