This northern gannet flys faster then its shadow! No wait, actually the shadow flies faster.. Ahwell ~ 1/1250s, F4, ISO160 #bird #photography #nature #birdphotography #northerngannet #gannet

A high-angle photograph shows a Northern Gannet in full flight, angled downwards to the right with its large, black-tipped white wings fully outstretched. The bird has white plumage with a creamy yellow wash on its head and a distinctive black line of skin on its face. It is flying over a blurred background of green vegetation and reddish-brown earth. A vertical watermark "milvus.me" is along the bottom right edge.

This oystercatcher had good luck on the beach. Did not quite found what he desires given his name, but still, good food! 1/2000s, F5.6, ISO500 #bird #photography #nature #birdphotography #oystercatcher7

I finally got this picture finished! I spent way too long on it.

A muntjac fawn resting in a flower-filled meadow with his hedgehog and blue tit friends. He gazes happily at a white butterfly flying above him.

I met the new goats at the sanctuary I volunteer at. They're so sweet and friendly. 🐐🐐

I’m glad I’m actually getting some artwork finished. I’m still pretty slow when it comes to making art, but I’m hoping I’ll get better, faster and more productive with practice.

When Wotter isn’t rafting, watersliding, fishing, or riding gannets, he enjoys a bit of beachcombing.

Just finished this picture. Buckey enjoying his break hour. When he isn’t engineering dams, lodges and ecosystems, Buckey enjoys listening to music in his downtime. He often taps his tail to the beat!

A beaver sat along a reedbed near a river. He is listening to music through his headphones. His tail is tapping along to the beat.

I watched a gannet feeding frenzy today. I think they're fattening up ahead of their autumn migration. I love watching them dive! 🐟🐦🌊

I'm making the most of my days off. I've been doing a lot of birding. Unfortunately, the drought has affected a lot of my local nature reserves. But I'm still getting some good pictures!

I'm off work for a week! I've been trying to do as much birding, drawing and gaming as I can. 🐦🎮✏️🦌

I just completed Halo: Campaign Evolved on Legendary difficulty. It was quite fun. Asides from some presentation issues with the cutscenes, I like how they modernised Halo's gameplay. The shooting and controls feel tighter. And I appreciate the inclusion of gameplay mechanics from the later titles.

I just finished this doodle! I enjoy doodling on my photos. It gives the illustrations a mixed-media feel that’s kind of reminiscent of those visual gags you see in SpongeBob, South Park, and Adult Swim shows. Photo taken by me at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. 🦅🦦

A cartoon otter inserted into a photograph of a gannet. He is positioned on its back.

I will be spending the weekend in Harrogate. It's a really nice Yorkshire spa town. I can't wait to visit all the museums and gardens!

I'm working on redesigning my deer character. I'm turning him into a muntjac! I'll need to fix his line art and anatomy a bit, but hopefully I can start colouring this soon. I just wish I wasn't so sloooooooow at drawing 😭

www.ign.com/articles/toy... Aww, cool! They're remastering the old Toy Story games (and A Bug's Life). Those were some of the first games I remember playing. 🎮🦌 I wish they still released licensed games like these.

My main fursona is still a deer. I just suck at drawing them, so I rarely feel confident posting deer artwork. 🦌✏️ I'm hoping it's something I can work on. I want to make my fawn a reference sheet.

I'm going to be staying at the beach next week. I’ll be visiting lots of local seaside towns by land and boat, and I’m really looking forward to it. 🌊🐟🦀 I’m so excited that I’ve started drawing a beach-themed picture too. Hopefully I’ll get it finished soon!

The problem with the 2020s (aside from the wars and the pandemic) is that I keep referring to each year as though it were the 2000s. I'm always catching myself calling them 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and so on. I never did this in the 2010s.
