Ruby's predicate (?) and bang (!) methods make code speak for itself: empty? → returns boolean sort! → mutates, danger ahead vs: isEmpty() → less expressive sortInPlace() → verbose Language design choices like this make Ruby a joy to write.

I'm blown away by how AI has revolutionized market research - what used to take weeks can now be done in minutes with incredible accuracy.

Protip: If you have a robot vacuum that won't charge, take a fine grit sand paper and sand/polish the connection points on both the vacuum and charger. You'll be back in business.

Asciidoc is such a great document format. Wish the software community had standardized on it instead of Markdown.

Who's working on RBS type support for editors like VSCode, Cursor, Neovim, etc? Looking for non-AI code hints based on RBS type signatures.

Are you leveraging AI effectively? Using it to crank out more code misses the point; instead, focus on AI-driven features. Less code == fewer bugs & better security. Use AI for smarter solutions, not just to pad your codebase.

The more I dig into the Socketry suite of Ruby gems, the more impressed I am. Some really great work in these libs.

Creating something is highly rewarding and an end unto itself. Humans will never stop creating even if/when AI outpaces human capability. In fact, the possibilities expand dramatically when humans leverage AI.

GoogleLM Notebook is quite good. They've hidden so much of the underlying complexity and makes it approachable. Great job on the UX.

We’ll soon be building our own workforce with AI agents. It will eventually have the capability to self replicate and dynamically expand/contact based on real time inputs. On top of that, these workforces will be customized and tailored for individual customers.

It would be nice if APIs always published a JSON schema for request/response headers and body that everyone could use for validation. Sort of like SOAP from years ago.

I’ve got some Ruby AI stuff to demo… hopefully tomorrow. Not open source (yet 🤞) Powerful yet simple. Needs some refinement but is very fun to work with. Also, it’s designed for the single server vertical stack; supports a message bus and queue using Async + Concurrent Ruby.
