Hiiiiiii! Long time, no log-in! Long story short we live in Central TX now. We finally bought a house! Only got a year in GA. Savannah was amazing due to friends made through soccer and proximity to the ocean. Church and school experiences were less-than ideal. Update me!!! I’ve missed so much!

All birds. Hard to choose. The Spotted Towhee in our yard back in CO was a fun friend. Black-capped Chickadees always cute and easy to chat with. Pretty sure my grandpa comes to visit me as a House Finch. Crows… Snowy egrets abound here in the low country Gorgeous & fun to watch hunt.

Built the stupid furniture myself. “No power tools” my ass. BZZZZ!! Cathartic. Now I’m hanging pics of dead loved ones; we’re having a great time crying/laughing about the beautiful cruelty of life. Grandma has been in my dreams—which have been wildly vivid & meaningful. Cycle-breaking sucks.

How can you tithe $10,000 (yes $10k) per month and then get pissed about your tax dollars doing the things Jesus called us to do? “You don’t get rich spending your money!” Yet, they’re so happy their tithes over decades have helped a church to break ground on a big, fancy building.

I bought a cheap walking pad for the incline, higher max speed, and ability to tuck it away. Well… now it trips out when I wanna go faster than 2.6mph and cranks all the way to 7mph. I start my walks at 3mph and start jogging at 3.8/4… so now I have to walk very slow or run really fast. Moog.

I was really craving that Crunchwrap Supreme tonight after eating clean for 3mo. Didn’t need to make it taste dirty and have nearly nothing in it but a soggy tostada that tasted like a floor may taste. Guess that’s what I get for caving on a craving.

Almost got slammed by a MAGA monster truck w/Trump & guns & crosses because he didn’t like the fact that I didn’t get in the left lane for a “right lane ends” sign (lane didn’t end, crews didn’t take down the sign). County next door is pissed about property taxes. Complains about public schools, crowded roadways, not enough traffic signals, and too few LEOs. But doesn’t want more taxes of any kind and then reminds people to sign up for the tax credit for taxpayer dollars to follow kids to private schools. 🤡

First time in my nearly 40yrs that I’ve had a boil water advisory. What gets me most is that I saw it scrolling FB. This should be like an Amber Alert. Got signed up for county alerts now. Grateful we have bottled water (which we rarely have on hand—but that will change!).

WTF got me this morning!? Intense itching followed by a blister maybe as big as a pile of 3 nickels. It was hot, burning by the the afternoon so I took a nap w/ice between 2 socks. Blister grew. Less red and swollen. Now I have a hydrocolloid bandage on and it’s super itchy and a lot less burny.

Can you spot it? I watched this majestic Great White Egret perch on top of the Loblolly and waited way too long to snap a pic or video of it flying off. Then, the dog came out and tried to pee on my Date Palm and as I looked up, there it was, flying away 😭
