Jared Allpress, AKA Hail, leads Aryan Front, a “racial holy war” group that officially folded in May, citing “raids and arrests”. However, members continue to operate on the extreme right and plan to regroup under a new name.

Turner’s arrival has already caused a split inside White Vanguard. Last month, leader Kai Cunningham was forced out and replaced by Declan Finch, AKA Declan Young, from Havant. Finch is now trying to marshal WV activists for Sunday's march.

The group was founded as “Albion Assembly” by Ryan Turner, a former EDL activist from Manchester who later became a core member of Australia’s National Socialist Network before it was banned. Deported back to the UK this summer, he wants to bring the NSN's militaristic marches to British streets.

Chris Mitchell is a former PA organiser who went on to co-found the Independent Nationalist Network, later joining the National Rebirth Party. He was convicted of hate crime offences in 2023. He has been photographed with Rupert Lowe and ran a Telegram channel dedicated to supporting Restore.

In 2023, James Munro was exposed by HNH as a member of the militant neo-Nazi group Scottish Nationalist Society. He then joined PA and is a founding member of Homeland. After the expose, a local organiser tried to expel him. The leadership intervened and protected him. He remains active in Restore.

"Martin" from Cheshire is a former member of both EDL and PA. He is also a supporter of the international Misanthropic Division neo-Nazi network that aimed to recruit for Azov Battalion in Ukraine. He was photographed at a Restore branch meeting in Tatton alongside fellow PA member Michelle Smith.

Elliot Lowe has been photographed performing a Nazi salute and acts as security for Street Sounds Promotions, Britain's most active promoter of extreme-right music. He was a regular presence in Restore's Greater Manchester mayoral campaign and has been photographed with Rupert Lowe.

Keith McFarlane was a key BNP activist and a repeat candidate for the group for a decade. He went on to dabble in the EDL, and later joined Patriotic Alternative, helping to launch its North East branch. He attended a Restore branch meeting in Gateshead.

Nadya Ivana (AKA Aleisha Aurora) is a Restore activist from Nottingham who has posed in an SS hat in front of a Nazi flag and posted pictures of her copy of Mein Kampf, videos of Hitler, and antisemitic comments. Ivana attended a branch meeting in Gedling and posed in Restore-branded clothing.

Dean Phillpott is co-founder of the Kent Nationalist Movement and linked to fascist groups including Patriotic Alternative and Britain First. He also has convictions for a brutal gang stabbing and possession of a gun. He's a vocal supporter of Restore and has marched with Restore-branded banners.

Jamie Waters is involved in the neo-Nazi music network Blood & Honour, which had its assets frozen in 2025 on anti-terror grounds. Waters, who has been photographed wearing an SS hat, was also photographed at a Restore branch meeting in Plymouth.

So who is Danny Tommo? Thomas rose through Tommy Robinson’s network and has become increasingly prominent on Britain’s far right. In 2016, he was jailed for two years after pleading guilty to attempted kidnapping during an armed attempt to abduct a man.

The protest has been called by Patriot Platform, the far-right network founded by Thomas. Despite being announced at extremely short notice, it has been heavily amplified online, including by Tommy Robinson. Turnout is difficult to predict.

Lennon has appeared on RT, praised Putin, denied Russian involvement in the Skripal poisoning and travelled to Moscow to stand alongside Alexander Malkevich, a pro-Kremlin propagandist sanctioned by the US for election interference.

There are a range of views locally about the proposed site. Some oppose it on explicitly anti-migrant grounds. Others argue the area lacks the infrastructure needed to properly support people seeking asylum. But increasingly, far-right actors have come to dominate the debate.

Casual Basement is one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of Stone Island and CP Clothing, brands popular with young men - especially with football hooligans. It was established in 2018 by long-time associates of Lennon's. In fact Lennon is a silent partner whose name does not appear on the paperwork.
