My hope is that them not caring has led to them giving it to a company that DOES care to improve it. Adding an ultra tier is nice, hopefully it includes MAX titles and collected editions too.

Corps is better than the main book (which I stopped reading it’s been dreadful) but Corps is also close to it, they recently jumped the shark adding yet another color (chrome lanterns!) that aren’t all that materially different than white lanterns.

I like this, it’s unique, the upside to being entered early should be getting a fall(point) if you eliminate someone before all 8 are in. Risk vs reward of being one of the first ones in.

John being chosen and groomed for the role is something that bugs me. I want to see how they square it in a way it feels like HE wants to be a hero, not just because he was groomed for it and feels like he deserves it. I’ve also been bugged by the focus on “fearlessness” rather than overcoming fear.

I’m a titans fan via my brother (his best friend growing up’s family were Oilers/Titans fans) despite living in NW PA. Half my family are Steelers fans and the other half are Bills fans lol. My brother being a fan + CJ2K right as I started getting into the sport are largely what I credit lol

Series is genuinely incredible and I fully understand why people sing its praises so often. Unbelievable level of character work in these books. I almost feel like I need to reread the first few trades now that I am as invested in the characters and this world.

I have finally started reading Criminal, I’ve enjoyed it but it didn’t really hook me until Bad Night. Good lord the twists and weaving everything together is so masterful. Gonna need them to reprint the deluxes (I think 2&3 are still available but 1 and Cruel Summer are OOP)

No you see absolute doesn’t count and GLC doesn’t count either. It has to be mainline solo title for some arbitrary reason. Also Miles doesn’t *currently* have a book, it ended at 42 a few months ago and they just recently announced a new series for august I believe.
