I don't care if it was just in the concept phase, promotional pieces or translation. I'm not supporting your product if you used AI in any aspect of it.

Did you know there's a "utopian scholastic" genre tag on Bandcamp that's all like synthy soundtracks from educational software and TV shows from the early '90s? (I want to make a joke about calling this "Encartacore", but I don't remember if Encarta had music.) trndytrndy.bandcamp.com/album/virtua

My wacom controller finally died ;<; The battery had been refusing to charge the past few months and it seems to have finally run out of juice. I've had it too long to get it fixed by wacom and like hell am I getting a new one. Gonna have to try to find a replacement battery and solder it in myself.

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better. Let's be supportive to the people that make this a better place! 💞

Right?? I was so upset 'cause I liked her videos, but after I saw that I stopped watching right then and there. I dunno if the video is even still up anymore 'cause she did get backlash, but like, even if she changed her mind on genAI or not. I don't care. There are other things to enjoy out there.

020

I do the same with games too. I was soooo heartbroken when I learned Cash Cleaner Simulator used gen AI. I played the demo and loved it, but there was no AI disclosure and I didn't discover until later that it was added in. Even after they removed it, I refuse to buy or play it.

050

Used to enjoy watching How To Cook That, but blocked the channel after she used AI to concept a gingerbread house to recreate it. It's insulting. If people are gonna use the plagiarism machine in creative tasks they just aren't worth my energy. I was interested in her cook book once. Not anymore.

270

I've been having to do this more and more lately and it's draining. I don't even bat an eye anymore though. AI thumbnail, blocked. AI used at any point in the video that isn't specifically about criticizing AI use, blocked.

Catsuka @catsuka.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I've been watching a lot of neat woodworking videos lately. I was a vid about making a stool that glowed and I was like "neat, I wanna learn the process on that" I click and see the thumbnail larger... It was covered in printed AI garbage. Comments confirmed it. Immediately blocked the channel.

You should definitely NOT go and bully this "developer" over on their Steam page for their "totally legit game" that was "not stolen using AI" called "Nocto and the Ray of Light" If you did, the page might just get taken down 😉

I cut a bunch of index cards in half to make little task cards for different things I want or need to work on. Then I added lists on each card as little steps I can do to progress the task. Any time I start getting static brained and dunno what to do I look over and search for something I can manage

I got my dry erase board early, but none of the other fun accessories I ordered with it, yet. Anyway, I took the opportunity to set up my task board this weekend. I've been using it since saturday and I feel like it's actually been helping a lot.
