I test knit the #RibbonCandyHat for @hookmountainknits.bsky.social What a nice little scrappy project! The stripes only took a gram of yarn each. I added an 11th stripe to get the whole #ProgressPride flag in. Pattern releases on Sept 17. #knitsky #knitting 🧶

I'm so happy you like it! It's knit with fingering held double, at 18sts/4". You can use even tiny amounts of leftover sock yarn you may have- some of my colors had just 5g on the small end, while others had 40+g.

I'm sorry! I feel the same way about snakes :/ I actually had a test knitter for this pattern who had severe arachnophobia that she was in therapy for. She had made a lot of progress and was using the test knit as a part of her therapy which I was very impressed by!

My current WIP for the #showmeyourknits prompt of the week! This is my adventure sweater: no pattern, no gauge swatch, no measuring anything, and only using the yarn here that's leftover from another project. The adventure is seeing if it will be wearable! #knitting #knitsky #🧶
