Some more details: These are worked flat, including the thumb. There are tutorial videos for the stitches and techniques but they have no commentary and are subtitled in Russian. But I was able to figure it out in the end and I love them so much.

I created a tracker to track my finished items (I also have a template I can share if people want it to use), and here is where things stand for the first week and a half of the new year. It's wild to see how fast I am making things.
