Yeah no plans to give up the fight. I've got a lot of plans & goals I want to hit. Definitely going to be different. But I'm not going to let this stop me. Wishing your mum all the best in her journey too. Really hope she can hit all her goals as well.

Yeah it's definitely been way too long. The cancer journey is hell. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. Really glad to hear your mum is doing well though.

I'll definitely take you up on that. Might get a call tomorrow 😂 It's one of those things, I definitely have dark days & will have more going forward. But I know the decisions I'm making are the best ones & looking forward at what I can do, is going to get me a lot further.

Appreciate it Luke. It's been one hell of a journey. But I am hopeful I'm now on the upside of the journey & I must definitely plan on making the absolute most out of everything coming my way.

The poor guy was absolutely set up for failure last season. Came in injured, was finally looking good & broke his leg. Then rushed back at the end of last season. Throw in the pressure of the price tag & it's as rough as it could possibly be for anyone. He's going to be great.

Cannot express how much I hate the double pivot. Need the 1 dedicated 6. If they push up you have someone drop back for the cover. Double pivot always leaves a massive hole in the guts.

No fucking idea what I need to do to catch a break. From having to be away from my wife for 3 years & being charged over $50k just to sort her visa. Then the moment she arrives, I get diagnosed with cancer & losing my leg. Now to top everything off our beloved cat Shanks has passed away tonight. FML

On my second cycle of Chemotherapy today. Been a rough road so far. Hoping I start taking to it easier. Got 1 more cycle before my amputation. Then 3 more afterwards.

Glad to hear that. The first week of Chemo was rough as hell for me. My second cycle is next week. Shaping up to be quite a brutal few months for me. I've got a surgery coming up after my 3rd cycle as well. How far through are you?

We're apparently wanting a stop gap Striker. Because Ekitike is most likely out for the season & concerns about Isak staying fit. Nunez has had his contract cancelled in Saudi. Basically he fits the profile that the club has been 'looking at'

Yeah I might be getting a bit too hopeful there. But it would make complete sense. Thiago is a tactician & also a man manager. Milner is a fitness freak & extremely dedicated. Both great servants of the club. Would really boost moral & standards from the get go.

But Thiago coming back, would be the kind of feel good factor that could really boost moral & start the new system off on the best possible foot.

You never know how much is true & I won't pretend to know much about who hangs with who in the football world. But apparently Thiago & Iraola are close. I have always thought Thiago would make a good coach. (Would absolutely love Milner to come onboard too as he'd ensure everyone was fit)

If there's truth in Thiago coming back to help with coaching I love that too. I think our biggest thing will be getting the moral back up. I love the players in our squad. If we can get them to buy in I really think Iraola will do wonders.

I will be honest, haven't really watched too much outside our games this season due to just being such a down year & so much on personally. But, I do like what I see. Can't ignore how well Bournemouth have performed after being gutted. I really think the biggest thing for us was we needed change.

Absolutely. It was basically a snowball effect. Pre season's are usually extremely well thought with very regimented training to build up for the season. We were left so far behind from the off. It was always a case of catch up. Which is why I couldn't understand basically starting from scratch.
