know it sucks that Disney and other companies are so reluctant to put substancial LGBTQ representations in their shows and movies. However we need to understand that this goes far beyond companies "hating the gays" and it is far more complex than you may expect.

Every time I hear about a studio being like “we’re gonna start a 9-14 initiative utilizing *anime style storytelling* by the end of it the studio is like “yeah turns out just licensing anime is way cheaper”
