#OC-Tober Day 4 - Under appreciated OC I am forever of the opinion that my Bard Hush was a good character in my first Curse of Strahd game but the other players didn’t appreciate them. A version of them is in my Minecraft Server now, but it’ll never quite be the same #bweirdoctober2026 #ocsky #art

An image of a person holding a short sword. They have tan skin and green eyes hidden by a goat skull mask. Red fur drapes from the goat skull onto the back of their head. They wear a long flowy red robe with gold accents and plant decals, a pale red tunic and pants, and dark red and gold ribbons. Their wrists and ankles are wrapped in bandages, and vines stick out from the bandages and also are wrapped around their horns. They’re currently crouched as they hold their sword

#OC-Tober Day 3 - Old Oc Okay friends let’s get utterly ancient with this. This is Zero. An escaped science experiment where someone merged human and demon into one. These were made in 2014 Look in the thread for links to the original bases #bweirdoctober2026 #ocsky

Image depicts an old art base of a girl sitting on a swing. Drawn over the base is red eyes, black hair, hairs? A from tail, and an orange jumpsuit. The girl also has stitches all over her body

An application for a community event called “Academy of Zalgo”. Featuring a character drawn from a base. On the left there is a girl with pale skin, short bobbed black hair, and red eyes. She is wearing a red beanie, red glasses, a long oversized black blouse, and a short red and black shirt with little red shoes. She is covered in stitches. In the right is a sort of ‘demonic form’ with dark red skin, white eyes, short horns with fire around them, multiple demon tails with mouths on them, and a large firey eye on her chest. She is covered in an absurd amount of black stitches, the right side of the image shows a closeup of the chest eye, her horns, and the words “Hello I’m Raven/Zero”

#OC-Tober day 2 - New Oc It’s a lil weird knowing my latest drawn OC is Lykos my Vampire the Masquerade character. He’s a tzimisce who’s left his home, his evil and abusive sire, and currently is a dragon with nothing to his name! #bweirdoctober2026 #ocsky #art #artsky

Image depicts a vampire with desaturated tan skin, red and amber eyes, and black and red fluffy hair. He wears a croptop and ripped jeans, boots, and red flannel. His stomach and knees are covered by fishnets. He is currently shyly rubbing the back of his head

OC-tober Day 1 - Fave Oc So Halaema has become something so ingrained in my mind and the story being told is so special to me. I’ve been working on a new Ref for them but I need a bit more time. So fancy fit I rendered for my Comms it is! #bweirdoctober2026 #oc #ocsky #art #artsky

Image depicts an elf with tan skin, black hair, and large sharp ears. Their eyes are yellow with black whites, and their skin glows like starlight.
Their hair is currently up in a bun, with 5 pins in it to resemble a star pattern. They are wearing a blue translucent cape and skirt with red pauldrons. They're also wearing a blue undershirt, navy blue vest, black pants, blue boots, and red gloves. A decorated and ornate swan skull help hangs on their black belt

Society has forced an idea on us that if we are not constantly running or trying to make money then the time was wasted but if you created something and it made you happy then that time was not wasted. Being kind to yourself and your work is rebellion in a world trying to turn us against each other.

/+ ALT Text/ I feel this but at the same time building a community is an important job of the creative too. You can't force people to like your work & you can't expect people to engage with you if you don't engage with them. You have to cultivate the world you want to see and engage with others too

Tags on Tumblr that say

"I wish people understood that when writers/artists bring this up they're not complaining about the lack of NOTES/STATS. They're complaining about the lack of COMMUNICATION and COMMUNITY. this is what all the pieces of fan works you see mean. The people who make them are trying to have a conversation with you!! They say 'this is what I think' or 'wouldn't it be cool it's or 'hey everyone look at the neat guy we all like'
And you're not obligated to be a part of that conversation if you don't want to! But if you do want to hear more of what they have to say ? You can't ask them to monologue about it. It REQUIRES your participation.

I also wanna throw out there on the subject of building community, NOT using ALT text is working to your disadvantage because it is isolating the disabled community and telling them they aren't welcome at the table by simply using the thing that assists them. It costs 30 seconds & harms no one.
