The birth flowers of September are Aster (Asteracae) and Morning Glory (Ipomoea), symbolising wisdom and undying love. They also happen to be my birth flowers! I turned 30 earlier this month :)

I continue to be obsessed with the funny little rock spider alien

So yeah I finally watched Project Hail Mary #phm #spoilers

A comic depicting the characters Rocky and Grace from Project Hail Mary, plus Adrian. Rocky is about knee-high, looks like a rock with spider legs, and ochre in colour. Adrian is about eight feet high and blue-green, and is also rocklike. Grace is a blond white man with glasses, wears a white t-shirt with blue and orange stripes, a brown back brace, and an orange jumpsuit tied at the waist.

This little fella came together surprisingly easily, only took a couple of afternoons by hand. Had to order some felt for the eyes but managed to recycle an old dressing gown for the rest of him. Anyway his name is Squidge and I would die a thousand deaths for him #sewing

I made 87 billion cockups and stabbed myself more times than I'm proud to admit but I sewed a wee fella. Two wee fellas actually. On balance it was probably not smart to try making something that's got curved seams all over the joint.

Like. I was GONNA paint but then I started editing the texture of a dress I downloaded for Sims 4 and then just ended up playing that for 3 hours. So yeah I had a productive day.

Considering how slow I normally am at arting because I'm too finicky for my own good, I'm challenging myself to try and at least once a week just sit down and do something quick. I call it Sloppy Sunday, and today I took only 20 minutes to decide on a linework brush.
