Thinking of throwing my #HomeyPro out the window after 2 years of crappy sometimes-maybe service. Cannot connect to google home with matter, weekly disconnects, now some firmware update failing. Abysmal. Anyone experience with that? I hear #HomeAssistant is good

Agreed! I have found it cumbersome to manage skill files myself and now let AI manage and update the skill files

I use global skills and manage two sets: 1 for my professional setup, and 2 for my pet projects (different machine). That's enough management for me atm. I'd advise asking AI to update skills based on your sessions regularly. Makes it kind of self learning! Works ok for me.
